Diamond's POV.
My phone interrupts and I pull back to answer it. Jeremy.
"Hi."
"Let me speak to Ace."
"Okay", I hand the phone to Ace and he takes it.
"Hey, how is it going?" Ace inquires.
I turn to my wrist watch. 4:15am.
"What?"
I turn to Ace and a wave of alarm washes over me.
"Okay. Good. We're on to it. Keep us updated. Bye now."
"What is it?" I question him.
"They found your mom unconscious but Clinton and Violette is nowhere to be found."
"Oh my god. He'll kill her if he finds out about it."
"What are you talking about?"
"He gave me twenty four hours, Ace and if I don't give him Maryse and he finds out you are unto him, he'll kill Violette. Oh my god this is all my fault. If I hadn't started staying out all night, she would have never...."
"Diamond, hey, we'll find her I promise," I let him draw me into his embrace and we stay that way for a long while.
4:55am.
"We should go get my mom," I tell him
"Your mom is fine and she's at the Paragon mansion with Aunt, mom and the girls."
I nod against him.
"Maybe we should go join in the fun," he suggests.
"It could be dangerous but yes, let's go."

Violette's POV.
"Clint, I think it's about time you let me go," I suggest and earn a dirty slap across my cheek.
"You don't tell me what to do, little girl," he snaps and I shrug.
"Its your call anyway."
He frowns and head out. I don't think Diamond is gonna find me anyway since Clint moved us back to his old Prey hideout. I do hope Diamond thinks about that. I trust she's smart and sooner or later, she'll come for me.
I wonder how many hours I have left. I heard Clint make the phone call and learnt he had mom too but he left mom behind and I pray they find her.
I sigh audibly. My arms hurt from hanging and my wrists too. Cruel guy couldn't loosen the grip.
I start to hum someone to stay and give in to my fate. That's when I spot Clint's phone on toe coffee table. I glance at the door. Shut. Perfect.
I raise my left leg and try to reach the table with but its too far beyond my reach. I groan and reach further but still. I sigh and play someone to stay in my mind. That was Diamond and my song and if I sing it, I think I'd have her strength to not give up and keep pushing.

Flashback.
"I can't do this, Diamond," I moan against my big sister. Daddy left us and mom two weeks ago and I don't think I can move on without daddy.
