Guarding The Mafia's Son

Chapter 13

(A/N: please this is going to be a very short chapter on the discussion between Blake and the boys. Enjoy)

Ace's POV

I descend the stairs and walk to the private study. I open the door and walk inside. My father is seated and Jeremy and Trevor are seated opposite him. He smiles at me and motions for me to sit. I do so, sitting in the empty chair between Jeremy and Trevor.

I wonder what this about.

"We got a location from Jeff but it seems Prey relocated", dad tells us.

"What?", I can't help the anger and disappointed in my tone.

"Ace", Jeremy starts, "calm down."

"Calm down, they have my mother and you are talking about calming down", I was raging and I don't think my mom is the entire reason why.

"Trace", Jeremy calls out sternly and I turn to him, "I said calm down."

"Sorry father", I sigh and look up at him.

"Is there any other way to find him?", Jeremy asks.

"Prada?", Trevor inquires and I sit quietly listening to them.

After a moment's pause, my father spoke, "well, there's Trace and that's taking too long and there's your aunt and Prada"

"Jennifer and Prada? I don't understand", I inquire.

"Your aunt has hired someone in on Prey and that someone got something from them"

I shake my head, "who's this someone?"

"All I know is her name, Antonia Pierce"

Pierce? That's sort of weird. Monica Pierce and now another Pierce. I should ask her if she has a sister or something by that name.

"So Jennifer, what did she get", Trevor asks.

"A party"

We all look confusedly at each other and back at my father.

"A masquerade ball next Wednesday and we're all going", dad informs us.

I'm more confused now, "what has a party got to do with Prey".

"They're going to be there Ace, and Clint as well"

"I guess I'm out of the circuit then."

"No, Ace, you've got a fight at midnight and you're not leaving yet. In case anything goes wrong at the ball, you will be possibly our only chance at finding Maryse"

That made enough sense but as soon as I fought that one person who can lead to Prey, I'm out of the circuit forever. I wonder what's up with my mother, what she's going through, what those men are doing to her. Shit! I can't let myself think about that.

Right now, I've got to focus on finding my mother very soon.

I just had an idea but I don't think dad can help and aunt won't help either. Maybe while I fight, I can search for this Antonia Pierce and she might be able to lead me to Prey
