THIRD PERSON POV
"Hey, you bastard! Wake up now!" Bakugo lifted the unconscious Todoroki by his collar. "Snap out of it!"
"Asuna..." Todoroki mumbled, his fingers twitching. He forced his eyes open at the sound of Bakugo's shouting. Bakugo pulled his collar to where he was sitting upright. "What the hell happened to you?" Todoroki shook his head, putting it in his hands.
"Asuna...Asuna!" Todoroki shot his head up and this time, he grabbed Bakugo's collar with both hands, staring at him with horrified eyes. "They took her! These men in suits took Asuna away!" Bakugo's eyes widened in shock at the sight he was witnessing. Todoroki's body was trembling all over and tears were threatening in his heterochromia eyes. "Slow down, man! What about Asuna?"
Todoroki huffed deep breathes, slumping his head forward onto Bakugo's chest, gripping his collar tighter and tighter. "She was kidnapped..."
"Todoroki! Bakugo!"
The two boys looked up and saw their Pro-Hero teachers running to them. Aizawa stared straight at Todoroki, and the boy broke. "Mr. Aizawa! They got her! These men took her away!" Aizawa's eyes widened and his teeth gritted. Then, he swung his fist and smashed a hole in the wall. "Damn it...Damn it!"
All Might helped Bakugo and Todoroki to their feet and examined Todoroki's head wound. "We'll get you to Recovery Girl. Bakugo, you return back to the stands and don't mention any of this to anyone."
"What? No! I want to go find her!" Bakugo said, crossing his arms. Todoroki nodded. "Me, too. It's my fault she got kidnapped...I couldn't rescue her even though they were right there in front of me...I'm pathetic. I want to make it up to Asuna. Please, All Might. Mr. Aizawa."
The pro-heroes glanced at each other. Then, Aizawa took Todoroki by his arm and pulled him along. "You're going to tell me everything that happened when you and As—Komiko were together up to the point she got kidnapped... and I mean everything."
All Might placed a hand on Bakugo's shoulder. "Follow me. I'll need your help with what I have in store."
SHOUTO'S POV
Aizawa sat me down and treated me himself. After he was done wrapping my head in a bandage, he sat across from me with his arms crossed. His eyes were red and his fingers were fidgeting. "Start. And don't even let the tiniest detail out."
"The last time I saw her before she got kidnapped, I was sitting next to her in the stands after she had finished her fight with Bakugo. She acted completely oblivious, as if her mind was wandering. She claimed she was exhausted when she rested her head on my shoulder and she stayed like that for about a minute or two, looking very...peaceful. I then asked her a personal question..." I paused, not really wanting to admit to her secret guardian. Aizawa raised his brow, as if to threat not to lie to him. Asuna had told me she informed Aizawa that I knew her past and telling by the glare, I knew too much to his opinion.
"I asked her if she could, she could change her past. If she could take away her awful childhood..."
"Why would you ask her that?" Aizawa interrupted, resting his temple on his propped hand. "What business do you have with her for you to ask such a thing?"
"Because I wanted to know." I answered truthfully. "My childhood and relationship with my father was horrific...but I can't compare mine to hers by even a percent...I just wanted to know what she truly felt." I averted my eyes from his burning ones. "I'm sorry, sir. It was not my place."
"Did she answer?" Aizawa questioned. I shook my head. "Before she could answer, Midoriya won his match and the crowd went wild. As—I mean, Komiko clapped for him and then stood up, saying she was going to get ready for her second match."
"What happened next?"
"After she left, I found this on her seat." I pulled out the flower keychain, and Aizawa's eyes widened. He reached out for it and took it from me. "I gave this to her as a birthday gift...neither Asuna nor I knew her nactual birthday, so we established the day she moved in with me as her birthday." His hand shook as he circled his thumb over the charm's surface. "I didn't think she actually keep it..."
"Mr. Aizawa, from what she told me about you, you are the most important person in her life. Anything you do for her, she treasures it."
Aizwa nodded and looked at me. "Continue."
"I decided to return the charm back to her. On my way to the Waiting Room, I heard her scream and I bolted around the corner to see two men restraining her."
"What did the men look like?"
"They wore suits and sunglasses. I didn't get a good look of their faces...it all happened so quickly. I tried to save her, but the men were quick and definitely skilled. Before I knew I was on the floor...I could hear her screaming my name before I blacked out..."
Aizawa exhaled and slipped the charm in his pocket, rising to his feet. "Come on." he said, heading for the door. I stood up and followed him. "Where are we going?"
"We're going to get Asuna Komiko back."
