C H A P T E R 2 6

THIRD PERSON POV

Before Midoriya turned the corner, he remembered All Might could be in his weaker form. He turned to Bakugo and told him that he will bring All Might out so they could talk outside the stands. Bakugo just tsked his tongue, while Midoriya mentally thanked him for not arguing about it.

All Might immediately spotted Midoriya the moment he entered the teacher's box. He transformed into his Strong form and followed him out, unsuprised to see Bakugo also there. "What is it, you two?" He asked with his low mighty voice.

Midoriya glanced over at Bakugo with a frown. "Actually, Bakugo wanted to see you; I just lead him here." Bakugo crossed his arms and huffed. "That's right. That means you can get lost now, Deku."

"Hold it, Young Midoriya." All Might stopped both of them by putting a hand on their shoulder. "I see it fit for you to be inform with what is happening behind the scenes." He paused for moment to clear his throat. "Asuna Komiko has been kidnapped by an organization who were responsible for giving her the ability to use five quirks. Bakugo her and Shouto Todoroki are also aware of this. At this moment, Aizawa and Todoroki are secretly infiltrating the evil organization, and—"

"Hold up! You mean to tell me that that Icy-Hothead is out there saving As—Komiko with a pro, but I'm stuck here fighting my useless classmates!" Bakugo clenched his fists to the point if his knuckles turning white. "And now Deku gets to know everything? What the hell do you see me as? I'm too weak, right?! Is that it?!"

"Kacchan..." Midoriya was baffled by Bakugo's sudden attitude. He wondered why was getting so worked up. But then, Midoriya began to grow worried about Asuna...he hoped Aizawa and Todoroki were okay and are successful with rescuing her. He could why Bakugo wasn't allowed on the secret mission; his personality and the lack of experience on the field would get the best of him when it came to his fighting technique. Midoriya didn't have the full story, but Todoroki did seem like a suitable choice for many reasons.

All Might sighed and patted Bakugo's shoulder. "I know why you are here, and if you are smart, you already know my answer."

Bakugo tsked his tongue. "I don't need your permission, All Might. If I'm not going to get your help, then I have no choice but to go by myself." This time, All Might's straight face turned very serious and his grip on Bakugo's shoulder tightened to the point Bakugo opened his mouth at the sudden pain. "Why are you being so selfish?! I expected so much more responsibility and consideration out of you!"

"All Might..."Midoriya gasped. He had never seen his mentor like this before, the same goes for Bakugo. So much was happening...Midoriya was speechless.

Suddenly, the piercing sound of a thousand terrifying screams echoed throughout the entire stadium, which abruptly started to quake. All Might bolted for the box, with Midoriya and Bakugo right behind him. They couldn't believe their eyes what they saw hovering in the center of the stadium.

It appeared to be sort of dark ship with ten massive, long, flexible arms with tiny claws on the ends. Directly on the front of the ship was a enoromous, bulging, red  orb with a target-like pupil that darted every which way. The claws swung around aimlessly, creating giant gusts of wind, shattering the concrete walls of the arena. Suddenly, the Eye stopped at a fixed position and one of the arms thrusted forward at incredible speed.

"KIRISHIMA!!!" Midoriya and Bakugo screamed in unison as they helplessly watched their friend and classmate get snatched up and sucked into the belly of the ship, all in one motion. Just like that, he was gone.

All Might gritted his teeth. Not even he could react that quickly to even attempt to save his student. But he couldn't stand around punching himself mentally. He had a time limit. Better make use of it. "Stay here and out of sight!" He shouted to Bakugo and Midoriya, and then leapt off the stadium box with so much force, he left a crater where he launched. The moment he was gone, Bakugo made his move.

"Kacchan! Where are you going?!" Midoriya shouted, grabbing hold of his arm. "If you think you can take on that humungous monster of a ship, then you're dumber than ever!" Bakugo froze and glared at his delinquent of a classmate. "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. Of course I'm not going to attack the Mother Ship, you dumb ass! How about you use your damn eyes and see the threat swarming our class!" He thrust his free hand out and Midoriya realized that the ship wasn't the only threat.

Ranting wildly around the student boxes were flying black robots the size of microwaves. They had bulky fronts that seemed to be used for charging into hard surfaces and whatever else that got in their way.

Midoriya slowly released Bakugo's arm. "Be careful, Kacchan." Bakugo tsked. "Shut up, Deku." Then, he jumped over the railing from box to box until he reached the student section. He thrust out his open palm, sending a massive explosion, taking out two of the flying pests, saving Uraraka's life.

"Thanks, Bakugo." She said, huffing. "Bakugo, that thing took Kirishima."

"I know, I saw." Bakugo shot back. "You need to get out of here, along with everyone else!" This time, Uraraka wrapped her arms around his left one. "Oh no! You are coming, too! You can take on all of these by yourself, and with those huge arms swinging arou—BAKUGO, LOOK OUT!"

The ship had targeted its next victim and an arm restrained its claw on Bakugo, crushing his torso. Uraraka grasped both his wrists and clung on for dear life. Bakugo grabbed hers, too, trying to pull himself free. "Don't worry, Bakugo! I won't let go!" Uraraka screamed, pulling with all her strength. Bakugo was amazed at that moment how strong she was... For a moment, the claw seemed to be losing its grip on Bakugo, until one of the flying robots made a beeline for Uraraka. It slammed itself into her ribs, but Uraraka didn't let go.

"Uraraka! Hold on!" Bakugo shouted, lifting one finger from around her wrist to shoot the robot, but he couldn't get the aim.

"Don't worry..." She was out of breath. "I won't let you go...Bakugo..." She smiled just as the robot crashed right into the side of her head...

"URARAKA!!!" Bakugo shouted as their hold on each other was lost and he was sucked into the black void. Then, he blacked out.
