THIRD PERSON POV
The moment Bakugo and Midoriya were taken away, the pro-heros arrived with Yoichi Hiruma and Kazuya Miyuki right behind them.
Every scientist and villain accounted for were taken into question. Nikolai was arrested for numerous crimes too many to list.
Medic came in and aided Aizawa, Uraraka, Midoriya, and Bakugo, who all had the same symptoms and expressions...they had just witnessed their greatest fears. Asuna couldn't even imagine it, and felt responsible for everything and everyone.
That's when Midnight appeared next to her. Placing a hand on Asuna's shoulder, she sighed deeply. "I hope this doesn't come up in the media. Nobody needs to know what happened within these walls. Or what has happened..." Asuna gazed up at Midnight and she suddenly felt like a 10-year-old girl, getting saved once again by the pro-heroes.
"Thank you, Midnight." was all Asuna could say. "I guess I owe you again." Midnight smiled and placed a folder in her lap. "I'll let this one slide if you come meet for tea sometime."
"Deal." Asuna said and grasped the folder in her hands.
When Midnight was gone, she opened it to find her profile, all her medical checks, and her anatomy poster. At the top of the profile, it said her real name...
Asuna didn't bother thinking it was her name. She had a name...given by the only one who she would call family.
AK-821 was printed on the rest of the documents. She began to realize how her body was able to contain all the quirks' abilities without transforming into some-sort of monster. It was her original quirk...the one she had all along. Her healing ability. Her body was constantly healing itself as the energy swirled inside her. She knew for sure after one of the nurses gave her a shot that cancelled out the quirk-cancelling serum. Immediately, her body felt lighter, stronger, and more comfortable.
On the back of the last page, she read a summary that was written in Nikolai's handwriting. He wrote about how he regretted putting his only daughter at the risk of death only to prove his studies. He called her by name and had apologized to her, knowing he'll never actually get to tell her in person...There was a lot of pain and conflict in his heart, he said, and didn't know how to show that to her. At the end of the letter, he wrote down how he wished she would become nothing like him. A hero. At the bottom, he wrote out a name. A hero's name.
Lucky Star.
Asuna began to cry. In fact, she sobbed.
Todoroki joined her side and just sat there. ext to her, waiting for her to say something. When, she finally calmed down, she leaned her head onto his left shoulder.
"I'm ok." She huffed and closed her eyes.
"I know." Todoroki breathed. "Do you what I think?" Asuna hummed. "I think...No...I know you are the most beautiful person I've ever met."
Asuna raised her head and smiled. "I almost believe you." She slipped her arms around his torso and hugged him tightly. "Thank you for coming to rescue me. I'm surprised you convinced Aizawa to let you come."
"I didn't. He let me come." Todoroki corrected her. "In fact, he think he insisted." This made Asuna's smile even bigger.
Todoroki turned his chin, but caught himself before he kissed her forehead. Instead, he planted his cheek there and wrapped one arm around her shoulders. They sat just like that until it was time to go home.
TWO DAYS LATER...
ASUNA'S POV
Well, the summer festival, I guess you can say, was a fail that year. With the all the repairs that needed to be done and all the rumors that spreading about the attack, it was not worth trying to resume the tournament.
Classes continued as normal. No reporters. No rumors. No adnormal announcements. Just class.
Or so I thought.
Aizawa made a special announcement. "Today, we are going to choose our hero names."
Class 1-A exploded with excitement and Aizawa stopped him with his quirk.
"Listen up, whatever name you come up for yourselves should identify what kind of hero you want to be. What you want to represent. What defines you. These don't have to be permanent. You can change and/or alter however you like up to graduation. Right now, is a chance to get an idea. Midnight will be in charge of approving your hero names."
"You called?" As if on cue, the sexy pro-hero strolled in proudly. She faced the class as Aizawa exited the room. "Alright, who's ready?"
Everyone was given a dry-erase board and a marker. After about 5 minutes, people, as instructed by Midnight herself, began to volunteer to present to the class, shyly at first, but the more people who presented, the more confident everyone else became.
After being rejected twice, Katsuki marched back to his seat in frustration. I leaned over and said, "Do you need help, Boom-Mike?" He tensed up and lowered his chin. "No, I'm fine, you Air-Head. What about you? You haven't even presented once."
He was right. I couldn't think of anything. Tapping my marker on the board, I flipped through all the possible hero names that defined me as a hero. A name that I can see myself as when I'm saving the public. One name popped up and my fingers gripped around the marker tightly, writing it down slowly.
Then, I stood up up front and placed my board on the podium. Everyone gasped in awed. Midnight relaxed in a sweet smile.
"I didn't know about this name because of its purpose..." I started. "But this is me. It fits because it's me. I am Asuna Komiko.... I am Lucky Star."
Everyone applauded and Katsuki bolted from his seat and marched right up next to me, slamming his board down just as I moved mine. "How about this one? Is this one satisfy your approval?"
I leaned forward and gasped, a slight sound of laughter escaped my lips as I covered my mouth. "Yes, it will do." Midnight sighed, but couldn't stop from smiling herself.
On the board, it read, "BOOM-MIKE!" in big bold letters.
I gave him a hug from the side. "It's perfect!" I couldn't stop laughing as his face turned bright-red. "Shut up! All my good ideas were rejected, so I was forced to do this one!"
Everyone began chanting. "Boom-Mike! Boom-Mike!"
"Shut up!" Katsuki's red face was almost a maroon-color now as he stomped his way back to his seat and covered his head with his arms.
Midnight clapped her hands and congratulated all of us. "Coming up is another big event that will affect your future." We all leaned forward in suspense.
"Your internships."
