THIRD PERSON POV

After Todoroki left her to be check by the medic, Asuna gazed around her surroundings and noticed the Big Four across the lot.

Yoichi Hiruma and Kazuya Miyuki seemed fine, since they weren't caught, but both Hitoka Yachi and Karma Akabane had bandages. Akabane had an ice pack to his wrapped head. Asuna suddenly felt horrible, knowing that they were hurt because of her, trying to save her. She stood up and walked towards the four to thank them personally.

As soon as Akabane caught sight of her, he smirked and set the ice pack down. "Well, I guess you were worried about me if you took your time to come and see me?" Asuna rolled her eyes. Same Karma Akabane.

"I was actually worried about all of you." She corrected him. "I also wanted to apologize and thank you all for risking your lives to rescue me. I know it didn't turn out the way we wanted..."

"Don't worry about it, Komiko." Yachi smiled up at the first-year. "It turned out okay in the end, that's all that matters."

"Indeed," Miyuki fixed his glasses. "That small possibility tripled when I foresaw the pro-heroes, but I was unable to inform Akabane since our communications were broken. I was not worried until after I realized what could happen in the time between before they arrive. Trust me, Ms. Komiko, the worst did not happen."

Asuna didn't know how to take that, so she just nodded and noticed Hiruma smirking at Miyuki. " 'Sorry' doesn't cut the mustard. That's why we have cops! You make it sound like everything was under our control the entire time. It's difficult to warp reality, you know?" He turned to Asuna with those devilish eyes and grin. "What he means to say is that as long as the chances are not zero, then it was too soon to give up on you and everyone else." Asuna was shocked to hear the kind words coming from the third-year.

"Of course," Hiruma continued. "I'm jealous. Those bastards basically had a machine that could do my quirk for me. If they wanted to mess with your weak first-year minds, they could've just hired me."

There he is.

"Yoichi, that's so mean!" Yachi called him out. Miyuki nodded. "Seriously, that's cold."

Akabane just sighed. "No offense to the others, but I'm glad I wasn't chosen. I don't think I could go through my deepest fears."

"Why do you say that, Karma?" Asuna questioned.

"Because I don't have any fears." Akabane answered, staring deep into her heterochromia eyes with his gold-colored pupils. "And that's the scariest part."

"I see," Asuna breathed, and gazed upon the Big Four. They all were so different...yet so similar. They were so strong...yet so normal. Like a bunch of high school students. But they had their attributes.

Akabane stood up and rolled his neck around. "In a nutshell, Asuna Komiko," He winked at her. "You have nothing to worry about."

Asuna couldn't hold back a smile and threw her arms around his torso. "Thank you. Really. I mean it."

At first, Akabane hesitated as he saw Hiruma and Miyuki teasing him with kissing faces and cracking smirks, and seeing Yachi holding in a happy squeal. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and rested his chin on top of her head. "To be honest with you, Komiko, and I'm not just saying this to flirt with you, I believe you'll make a great pro-hero one day. And I guarantee you'll be a "Big Four" in your next years at U.A."

They released their embrace and Miyuki came up behind Asuna and ruffled her long white hair. "Oh, it's guaranteed."

"Thanks, guys." Asuna said again. Yachi hugged her and Hiruma rolled his eyes with a smirk.

"Just remember," The devilish third-year said. "Talent can only take you so far; hardwork can take you anywhere."
