THIRD PERSON POV

Asuna stood at the entrance of the school once more, but this time she wore the official U.A High School uniform. Her long white hair was tied up in a high ponytail.

This is it. I'm finally going to exceed Mr. Aizawa's expectations. Just one more step...

"Hey, Deku!" a voice called out. "Move it!"

Asuna's head whipped to where it was coming from, and then rolled her eyes.

Bakugo.

He pushed his way past the same short boy who sat next to him and me during the presentation. I guess it was nice to see that both of them passed...maybe not so much Bakugo...

"Nice to see you again."

Asuna turned to find another boy she met: the upperclassman! His red and white hair were parted right down the middle of his head. His left eye was blue and his right was grey. The burn mark covered most of the left side of his face. His uniform fitted him neatly and nicely.

"Um, you too." She averted her eyes as she remembered their first encounter. She cleared her throat as she thrust her hand out to him. "I'm Asuna Komiko. Class 1-A student."

The boy cheeked a grin as he shook her hand. "Shouto Todoroki. Also Class 1-A student."

What?! He's in my grade!? But...HOW?!

"Oh, is that right?" Asuna kept a calm straight face. "I'm going to be honest with you, Todoroki. I thought you were an upperclassmen the first time we met. You were already wearing a U.A uniform so I assume..."

Todoroki let out a small laugh. "I could see that. I was actually already admissioned here by recommendation, so I didn't have to take the exam."

"Lucky..." Asuna sighed. "I can't believe I actually passed. I didn't even get a single point during the exam. But it turns out that 'rescue' points are a thing and I guess...um..." She paused. Todoroki's head cocked to the side. "Well, don't stop. I'm listening."

Asuna sighed again. "One of those Zero Point robots showed up and this hotshot's quirk was sort of backfiring...um, no pun intended...and I used my quirk to protect him while destroying the robot...so I guess I rescued him..."

"What's your quirk? If you don't mind me asking." Todoroki asked, his tone seemed to change, as if he was intrigued with her story. His eyes has softened.

Asuna smiled. "I have Air Manipulation. I can control the very air around us, like compressing and shaping and other cool stuff. What about you?"

Before he could answer, the first bell rang throughout the campus. Both Asuna and Todoroki both tried to hide their disappointed faces.

"Well, I guess we should head to class." Asuna said with a smile. Todoroki nodded and stuck his hands into his pockets. "Shall we?" Together, they headed to Classroom 1-A.

ASUNA'S POV

"Nice to meet you! I'm Ochaco Uraraka!"

"Asuna Komiko." She shook the girl's hand. She was very bubbly and cute with her bobbed light-brown hair and big brown eyes, her cheeks were pink. Everything about her was so cheerful. "I hope we can be great friends." She wrapped her arms around me before moving on to introducing herself to others.

Todoroki had already seated himself in the back of the room. Just as she was about to say hi, Uraraka and the short boy from earlier, Deku, screamed. All heads turned to see a...thing...on the floor. I spotted it and it somewhat resembled a yellow sleeping bag with someone with black hair in it...

Oh wait...

No way...it can't be...

My jaw dropped and my words got caught in my throat.

It was Mr. Aizawa.

Our eyes met, but his expression did not faze. His words echoed in my head.

"Don't tell people I'm your guardian."

Now I see why...I knew he was a teacher at U.A High, but he never mentioned he was the Hero's Class 1-A teacher!

"Alright," He said in a monotone voice. "I hope you're all ready for your journey through Hell." His face was completely serious. "I'm just going to warn you all right now: this is the school—no, this is the class that you will be learning the basics and training the fundamentals to become a pro-hero. I bet all of you were the top guns where you come from, but you won't be spoiled here. You better have the mind-set, the strength, and the qualities to surpass all expectations of this school if you want even a chance to become a hero. Your first assignment today: the Physical Exam."

Everyone gasped and began mumbling amongst each other. This was a whole another of Mr. Aizawa that I have never seen before. I was so used to the casual sarcasm and careless naps that I couldn't even prepare myself for what was to come next.

"By the way, as you all know this is an elite school, meaning we don't tolerate weakness, so whoever comes in last place in the physical exam, is immediately expelled."
