ASUNA'S POV

"Let them go!" I screamed at Nikolai, who had ordered for all of us to be lined up, as if to kill us one by one. "You have me! How much more damage must you do before your satisfied?!" Nikolai knelt down in front of me and lifted my chin with his middle finger. "You were my greatest creation, and then I made you even better in my very successful experiment. I've been satisfied for so long. But now, after five years, my only satisfation is to see you crumble..."

I spat in his face. "Go to Hell."

Nikolai's mouth twisted into a wicked smile as he wiped his jawline. "Bring them out." Two guards left at his command.

"Daughter..." The mad scientist sighed. "I'm not going to kill any of your friends. I'm just going to have a little fun with them. I want you to see something special. Something you will never see on a normal day..."

As if on cue, the two guards returned, dragging two figures slumped in their arms. My eyes burst into tears and my jaw dropped.

"URARAKA!!!" I screamed. "AIZAWA!!!!"

My guardian and friend looked straight ahead with blank stares, their eyes were empty...their bodies were limp. "Oh god...what did he do to you..."

Everyone gasped. Katsuki, who was knelt down next to me, growled. "How dare you...you fucking bastard!!!"

"Katsuki, No—"

I tried to stop him before he made things worst, but he shouted over me. "I DON'T CARE!!! You're a villain!!! Let me out these damn bonds!!! I'll show you satisfaction!!!"

"Kacchan please! STOP!!" Deku screamed.

"Asuna..." Shouto breathed on my other side.

Nikolai smirked at Katsuki and thrust his finger out to him. "He's next. And..." He gazed down the line of his prisoners and pointed at Deku. "This one."

"NO!!! STOP!!!" I shouted, struggling to throw myself in front of Katsuki, as they dragged him, kicking and cursing. Deku wriggled around like a worm in the guards' arms, trying to slip through, but his tiny body was squeezed and secured. I watched helplessly as they took them into another lab.

I glared at Nikolai. "What are you going to do to them? ANSWER ME!!!"

"What I did to them." he replied. "I'm going to hook them up to a machine of my invention that extracts the deepest fears. In real time, it'll take a few minutes, but their minds, it could go on for hours, even days. Some time-laspes. I've heard different stories." He glanced over at Aizawa. "Ooo, I can only imagine what your precious Shouta Aizawa saw."

I collasped on my side, leaning on Shouto, and my head dropped. "You monster..." He growled at my father. Nikolai laughed. "Aww, so, Daughter, as I promised, you are going to see the people you care about in their worst state. That is your punishment. Satisfied?"

All I could was cry.

BAKUGO'S POV

I was shot with two different needles, each with a different color. The first made my body go numb, so they could strap me up against a medical table. After sticking a bunch of suction-cupped sensors across my bare chest and face, they shot me with the second needle, and everything went black for two seconds.

When I blinked, a loud alarm echoed. The scientists that were in charge of hooking me up dropped their tools and evacuated the room.

"HEY!!! DON'T LEAVE ME IN HERE!!!" I shouted. "Shit..." I strained as hard as I could to break the bonds, and they popped on my wrists. I fiddled with the one across my waist and legs, and then hopped off the table. Running out of the room, I searched for everyone, hoping their weren't stuck anywhere and were evacuating like everyone else.

I zigzagged through the tight hallways and suddenly came to unfamilar open room. There was fire sprouting any different places and smoke clouded the air just below the high ceiling. There was large chunks of debris and shattered lab equipment scatterd across the floor. That's when I realized...this was the same room we were all in before they took me away...

"HEY!!!" I shouted, cupping my mouth. "IS ANYONE IN HERE!!!"

"Bakugo..." I heard my name and sprinted towards it. With all the smoke, it was hard to see and breathe. Something caught my eye and I immediately halted in my tracks.

"Kirishima?!" I gasped and skidded to his side. He laid motionless on his stomach with his head turned on his jaw. His bottom half was crushed under a giant chunk of rubble. I leaned forward and shook his body. "Hey, wake up, man. Wake up! Tell me, you're okay!"

No answer...

"Oh no..." My mouth gaped when I realized the truth...He was dead...

"Kacchan..." I heard another voice call me. There was only one person who called me that. "Where are you, Deku?!" I shouted. He said my name again and I scurried towards his voice. I found him under a long, heavy metal cabinet. There was shattered glass all around him. His body was all bent in weird angles and there were multiple cuts all across his face and any other exposed skin.

"Shit, Deku. What the hell happened?" I demanded. Deku bit his lip. His eyes were red from his damn crying. "An explosion. When they brought me back to this room, all of the sudden, a loud explosion happened and parts the ceiling collasped...Kacchan...what I saw..."

"Shut up, Deku! You don't have to talk anymore! Just hold still." I said, and gripped the metal cabinet, and, using all of my strength, lifted it and tossed it to the side off of him. Deku's hands reached up and clutched his ribs, biting his lip even harder. Blood seeped out of his left side, there was a deep wound....

"Damn it..." This time, I bit my lip. "Shit... damn it..." My fists clenched. "How did it come to this..." Then, I jaw dropped even more and grabbed hold of Deku's collar. "Komiko...where is she? Is she..."

"Kacchan..." Deku's eyes squeezed in the pain I was causing. Blood trickled down the side of his mouth. I hooked my arm around his shoulders, his head leaned up to where our eyes met dead-center. "Kacchan...I'm sorry...I lied to you...You are right...as always..."

"What the hell are you talking about? I said shut up!" A lump formed in my throat when he forced a smile. That same damn smile I grew up staring and cursing at....

"Kacchan, I have to—"

"No, you listen to me, damn it!" I interrupted him, trying to keep it together. "I don't care what you're sorry for. You're not going to die. I...I won't let you! I'm a hero and it's my job to save people. Even dumb asses like you! I can't..." I couldn't the sob that escaped my throat. "I can't lose the only damn person who ever freakin' believed in me...the only person who accepted who I was even though I pushed him away with insult after insult, and after bullying him...only because he was...quirkless... and then he turns out to be a damn-good hero!"

Deku and my eyes were both wet when I stared directly into them. "Damn it, Izuku! You can't die!"

"Kacchan..." He breathed. "Thank you...for being such an awesome friend..."

Friend...after all the years of basically torturing him and making his life a freakin' Hell...he still calls me his...

"Izuku..."

Deku's eyes suddenly began to close. I shook his shoulders. "No, stay awake! I can save you! Stay awake! STAY AWAKE!!!"

But it was too late...

He was gone...

A smile stilled remained on his pale face...

"NOO!!!!" I screamed, squeezing my eyes shut tightly as those bloody tears streamed down. I roared out of anger. My screams echoed off of all the surrounding debris. I felt as if it was closing in on me and my lifeless friend...my screams grew louder and more painful...

When I finally opened my eyes...I was back in the lab room, hooked up to the medical table...with All Might staring over me...
