SHOUTO'S POV

I took a deep breath, and just then I remembered where I was and what I was doing. On a real mission. With real lives at stake. My mind jumped to Uraraka...who knows what was happening to her. In real life. I tried to stay positive and calm...Aizawa was a pro and would be successful...

I held up my open palm and charged at the guard with all I had, assuming it was going to be a fight. However, my feet came to a halt. The guard has not flinched, nor even moved from his post. As if he couldn't see me at all. Walking straight up to him, I waved my hand in front of his face. Nothing.

"What the—"

"He's not blind or deaf."

I whipped around at the all-to-familiar voice. "What are you doing here, Akabane?" The fire-red head stepped forward with his hands behind his head, Hitoka Yachi, the shy 2nd-year who could summon blades on her forearms, was with him. Akabane smirked and flicked the guard in the forehead, who waved it off like it was a fly. "I could ask you the same thing, Todoroki. And I told you to call me Karma."

"That implied to me, too?"

"Not so much, but yes. And to answer your question, we're here for the same reason as you, duh. Why else would we break into a evil base?"

"Um, is this really the time to be having a conversation?" Yachi chimed in quietly. "We should focus on the mission. Yoichi only has about 3 more minutes left."

Akabane popped his neck. "Right, you are. Hitoka, if you will."

"Hold on, what do you mean, '3 minutes'?" I asked as Yachi summoned a long sharp blade across her arm. Akabane sighed, as if it was too much trouble to explain. "You know Hiruma's quirk, Reality Warp? He put a timer on this whole place, so Hitoka and I are basically invisible. I guess you are, too. Nice touch, Hiruma."

Yachi sliced her blade between the doir hinges, but it took effort.

"Speaking of you being here, where's Eraserhead? He was supposed to be with you, right?" Akabane looked around. It was my turn to sigh. "We saw Uraraka being taken somewhere, so Ai—Eraserhead went after her by himself, while he left saving everyone else to me."

"Oh, he put a lot of faith into you." It almost sounded sarcastic.

"I got it." Yachi said, as the door dropped down off its hinges and collapsed in front of us.

"Asuna! Are you in there?" I called out, now knowing I was invisible to the bad guys. I didn't get a response. Akabane held up his hand like he just remembered something. Placing his finger to his ear, he said, "Hey, we got the door open, Hiruma. Lower your warp on the students, will ya?"

"Great job," Miyuki's voice sounded. "With this rate, we are officially 70% ahead of schedule."

"Double check that when I give the news." Akabane huffed. "We have teamed up with Todoroki and according to him, Eraserhead has gone after one of the students, Uraraka I believe, who was taken somewhere else in the base."

"Well, that puts us at 50%. But we have our orders. I can say Eraserhead has a 79% chance of rescuing Uraraka. Let's focus on who is present, first, and we'll get back with Eraserhead, if possible. Right now, it's sitting at 45%."

"I don't like those percentages." I commented. Akabane agreed and then shouted, "Hiruma, the Warp!"

At that moment, I heard a few yelps coming from inside the now-open cell.

"How the hell did this door open?!" Bakugo.

"It's completely off its hinges!" Kirishima.

"Who's there?"

"Asuna?" I called.

"Shouto?!" She sprinted out of the room so fast, I was almost knocked backwards when she embraced me. Her long white hair was loose, tickling my nose. My arms unconsciously wrapped around her tiny body and buried my face in her head. "Jeez, I've been worried about you. Are you okay?"

"I am now." Her voice muffled against my shoulder.

Akabane cleared his throat. "Sorry to break up the romantic reunion here, but we have a time limit and we need to go. Anyone else in there?" Bakugo, Kirishima, and Midoriya walked out with surprised faces. Kirishima grinned. "Well, it's about time."

Asuna slipped out of my arms. "Uraraka is missing somewhere in this base. We can't leave her!" I shushed her and explained that Aizawa was taking care of saving Uraraka, and her eyes widen. "We have to go after them. He doesn't know what he's charging into." I looked up at Akabane. "Well, what about it, Karma?"

"Tsk, all I got to say I'm getting out of here with who is present. So come on, kids, we're going."

"Too late!" Miyuki shouted through Akabane's earpiece. "Hiruma's warp is done! You're exposed! Get out of there, quick—"

Suddenly, Akabane was jumped by guards and shot in the nexk with the quirk-cancelling serum. More guards appeared and pinned us all down. We couldn't even blink, it all happened so fast. Before we knew it, the seven of us were taken prisoner and led away, completely helpless.
