"Bring out the girl Bellamy!" Murphy called from outside the tent. He had recovered pretty quickly and was hell bent on revenge.
"Why Charlotte?" Bellamy asked gently. Yet, his voice was full of disappointment.
"I was just trying to slay my demons. Like you told me!" She defended. She looked so innocent. It was hard to comprehend that this little girl had just killed in cold blood.
"What the hell is she talking about?" Clarke questioned stepping forward.
"She misunderstood me." Bellamy sighed. "Charlotte, that's not what I meant."
"Bring out the girl now!" Murphy spat from outside. Hate lacing his words.
"Please don't let them hurt me." She sobbed.
"Any of you got any bright ideas?" He asked pacing. I stared at Clarke. Hatred boiled through my blood, if she had kept quiet like Bellamy said, we wouldn't be in this mess. "Now you stay quiet?" He yelled.
"Those are your boys out there!" Finn pointed out.
"This is not my fault." He defended. "If Clarke has listened to me. Those idiots, would still be building the wall."
"You want to build a society princess? Let's build a society! Bring her out!" Murphy snarled.
"No!" Charlotte was on the verge of tears. "Please Bellamy." I didn't know what to do. Murphy was making me on edge with his shouting.
"Charlotte. Hey! It's going to be ok!" He knelt down in front of her. "Just stay with them." He looked at me and nodded. I followed him out of the tent.
"Well, well well. Look who decided to join us?" Murphy sneered looking form me to Bellamy.
"Dial it down and back off!" Bellamy shouted.
"Or what? What you gonna do about it? Hang me!" He laughed standing in front of us. I looked at Bellamy and then at Murphy.
"I was just giving the people what they wanted." Bellamy retorted.
"Yeah, yeah that's a good idea. Why don't we do that right now?" He turned to the crowd. "So, who here wants to see the real murderer hung?" Only six hands went up. "I see, it's ok to string me up for nothing. But when this little bitch confesses, you let her walk!" I could hear his anger growing. I knew nothing good would come of tonight's events. "Cowards. All of you are cowards." He turned to look me in the face. I tensed and stared him down.
"Hey! Murphy!" Bellamy got his attention. "Murphy it's over!"
Murphy smirked at him and held his hands up. "Whatever you say boss!"
Bellamy turned away satisfied! I watched Murphy, he backed off too easily. Next thing I know he's picking up a log and smashing it over Bellamy's head. Bellamy fell to the floor. I ran over to him. Checking he was ok, I turned to see Murphy stood over me. "You chose the wrong side!" I glared at him. The next thing I saw. Blackness.

I woke up in the dropship, Bellamy laid next to me. "Bellamy?" I called gently shaking him. He groaned as he came round. "Murphys gone for Charlotte. Jasper and Octavia are standing guard we need to get out." He nodded. We slowly climbed down the ladders and quietly snuck round the back of the dropship. When we knew we were out of sight we ran as fast as we could.
"They can't have gone far!" Bellamy yelled to me.
"There!" I said and pointed to a figure further away from us. We sprinted to whoever it waswas Charlotte. He grabbed her by the waist and held a hand over her mouth when she screamed.
"It's me!" He said calmly. "Come on." He tried to take her back the way we came.
"Let me go!" She said as she pulled out of his grasp.
"We're trying to help you!" He said looking at her.
"I'm not your sister!" She looked at him. "Just stop trying to help me." She ran off yelling. We gave chase. When we caught up to her Bellamy grabbed her shoulders.
"Are you trying to get us killed?" His tone was harsher than normal.
"Just-just go, okay? I'm the one they want." We spent ages trying to convince her to come with us. In the end Bellamy threw her over his shoulder and ran. All the time Charlotte was calling for Murphy. Bellamy suddenly stopped. I slowed and looked for a reason why. I saw he had come to the edge of a cliff. Damn, no where to go, I thought. I turned and saw tourches in the distance. They were getting closer. Then through the bushes I saw Murphy.
"You cannot fight us all!" He sneered looking at us.
"Maybe not!" My head snapped to Bellamy. "But I guarantee I'll take a few of you out with me." He said.
"Bellamy, stop!" Clarke and Finn came running towards us. She turned to Murphy "This has gone too far. Just calm down. We'll talk about this!"
"I'm sick of listening to you talk!" He went to grab Clarke.
"Murphy!" I caught his attention. "Look I know, you're angry! But revenge isn't the way." I could see his head whirling. Next thing he grabbed my arm. I could feel cold metal against my skin.
"Let her go!" Bellamy stepped forward a slight growl in his voice.
"Back off! I'll slit her throat!" He made his point, by pressing the knife tighter against my throat. I felt it cut deeper and a small trickle of warm liquid running down my throat. Great he's drawn blood.
"Please don't hurt her!" Charlotte cried.
"Don't hurt her?" Murphy chuckled "Okay, I'll make you a deal. You come with me right now, I'll let her go!"
"Murphy!" Bellamy yelled. "This is not happening."
Charlotte stepped away from Bellamy. "I can't let any of you get hurt anymore." She looked at me. I shook my head. Not caring that I was causing the cut to worsen. "Not because of me. Not after what I did." She turned and jumped off.
Murphy let go! "Charlotte!" I lunged forward screaming her name. I landed next to Bellamy. We were all too late. She was gone. I sobbed into the ground.
"Bellamy!" Murphy didn't sound angry anymore. He sounded remorseful. Bellamy turned and tackled him to the ground. He punched him in the face. Over and over again. I didn't do anything to stop him.
"Bellamy stop!" Clarke cried. "You'll kill him!" Finn reached over to try and pull Bellamy off him.
"Get off me! He deserves to die!" Bellamy yelled punching him again. I ran over to him. Placed a hand on his shoulder.
"No! We don't decide who lives and dies. Not down here!" Clarke said, her voice cracking.
"So help me God, if you say that the people have a right to decide -." Bellamy turned to her furiously.
"No!" Clarke looked at him. "I was wrong before okay? You were right! Sometimes it's dangerous to tell people the truth. But if we are gonna survive down here. We can't live by whatever the hell we want we need rules!"
"And who makes those rules?" He asked wiping a hand across his forehead. "You?"
She looked at him and then me. "For now. We make the rules okay?"
"So what then? We take him back and pretend like it never happened?" He yelled!
"No!" They both turned and looked at me. I was looking down at Murphy. Pure hatred coursing through my veins. "We banish him!"
Bellamy rushed over to him, not needing to be told twice. "Get up!" We watched as Bellamy held him by the cliff edge. Clarke yelled at him to stop. "If I ever catch you near camp. We'll be back here." He said as calmly as he could. "Understand?" Murphy nodded as he was thrown to the ground. "As for the rest of you!" He turned to Murphys sidekicks. "You can come back and follow me. Or you can go off with him and die. Your choice!" With that he stomped off.
