I was laid on the grass out side the tents and dropship, looking at the sky. Thoughts ran through my head. Thinking of Charlotte, the Ark, my mother. Bellamy. All the thinking I was doing was giving me a headache. A shooting star flew across the sky. "Do you think you can wish on those types of stars?" I looked to my right to see Octavia walking towards me.

It suddenly dawned on me that it wasn't a shooting star. We both ran to Bellamy's tent screaming his name. He came out and Octavia pointed to the pod as it was entering the atmposhere.

"They're coming to help us!" Someone in the back yelled! "Now we can kick some grounder ass!" I chuckled at house morale had changed.

"Please tell me they brought down shampoo!" A random girl, wrapped in a blanket muttered. She looked at Bellamy and smiled.

I rolled my eyes. "We have bigger things to worry about then flipping shampoo!" I stated. Earning a glare from the girl, but a chuckle from both Bellamy and Octavia. The girl stared at Bellamy when he chuckled. I could see she was going to be a problem as she stormed off to his tent, dragging him with her. I looked at Octavia who rolled her eyes as well.

"It's his coping method." She stated linking arms with me. "Do you remember life on the ark?" I looked at her a little taken aback.

"We've only been down here about 21 days." I laughed. "Of course I remember life on the Ark. I hated it, until I got chucked in the skybox that is." I could feel her looking at me. An unspoken, burning question. "Just ask?"

"What did you get locked up for?" She looked at me getting settled on the floor next to me.

"Long story. When I was younger my folks argued a lot. My dad got floated for something my mum did. My mum started drinking heavily. She'd get violent." I looked over at Octavia and I could see the tears in her eyes as she listened to me. "She used to blame me for my dad getting floated. If she hadn't stolen rations, he wouldn't have been floated. It wasn't just any rations it was pills. Not only was she an alcoholic, but a druggy as well." I looked down at my hands, my own tears in my eyes. "She used to hit me. When I got older I used to run to Kane. He was my dad's best friend and was like an uncle to me. When I was 13 I could t take my mums abuse. So when she was begging for a fix, I told her we had nothing. She begged me to get something for her. I thought this is my chance to get rid of her. But I couldn't get her floated, so the only thing I could think of was to get put in the skybox. I went to the medical wing with a 'stomach bug'. Abby saw to me. When her back was turned I stole morphine and painkillers. When Abby said I was fine to go she noticed they were gone. When they came knocking I owned up. The abuse came to an end. Or at least I thought it had." I stopped not wanting to go on. Octavia placed a hand over mine. I smiled and excused myself.

I ran behind the dropship. Arms wrapped over my stomach. I doubled over and cried my eyes out. Thinking of my past was painful. Thinking of what she put me through. What happened during the skybox before Octavia turned up. It scared me for life. I cried and cried until I felt someone stood behind me. I turned to see Bellamy. He walked over to me, concern and pain all over his face. "What?"

"I heard what you told Octavia. I'm sorry that happened to you!" He walked slowly towards me.

"Why? It wasn't your fault. You never did any of that!" I laughed as he got closer.

"No, but it's something no one should go through. Especially at the hands of their own mother." I nodded and noticed he was dressed to go somewhere.

"Where you going?" I asked slightly annoyed. "You're going to the dropship aren't you?"

"Yes, please don't tell anyone ok. I need to see if there is a radio on there. If there is then..." he stopped.

"Then what?" I lifted his head. "Tell me."

"I can't let there be a radio. I can't let them come down. If they do, I'm dead." I could see fear in his eyes.

"Why? What did you do?"

"I shot Jaha." He looked at me measuring my response. "I needed to get on the dropship. So someone told me I could if I shot him. I'm a murderer Athena." I shook my head.

"You did what any brother...or sister for that matter would do. You were doing it to protect O." I saw his features change from fear to shock. "O is like a little sister to me as well. She saved my life when she was put in the same cell as me. I was seriously considering ended it before I got floated. So I understand why you did what you did." He looked at me as if seeing me for the first time again. His lips crashed onto mine taking me by surprise.

"Thank you. Please stay here I don't want you caught up in this. Also look after O for me." I nodded at him as he left.

When Bellamy finally returned he was being followed by Clarke, Finn and some other girl, who was not on the previous dropship. I ran over to them as Bellamy walked past me. I looked to Clarke. "Don't ask?" She walked into the dropship.

"Hi I'm Raven." The new girl introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm Athena." Her eyes grew wide.

"Athena! Kane is worried sick about you. As far as he knows your dead." I looked down at my wrist. I had forgotten that, during the last few weeks I'd taken it off. "He's going to be so thrilled when he finds out you're ok! First though! We need to signal the Ark, stop them from killing 300 innocent people." She walked away.

"Wait what?" I looked at her walking away and then towards Bellamy's tent. I ran to the tent. I barged in not even thinking. "Bellamy!" I was stopped in my tracks when I was met by him and two girls laying in his bed.

"Hey bitch get out!" Oh joy shampoo girl I thought.

"Seriously Bell?" I looked at him with disapproving eyes. He smirked at me. "Ok girls out. I need to talk to Mr big shot alone." One girl got up. Shampoo girl not so much. I glared at her. "Do I have to drag you out by your ratty hair? Because I will and I don't care if your naked either." She shot out of the bed like a lightening bolt and both girls left the tent.

"Want me all to yourself Warrior?" He smiled at me raising his eyebrows. "No!" I sat down on his bed. "Did you find a radio?" He looked at me and nodded. "And?"

"And I threw it into the river, before I got told that people were going to be killed." He looked at me as I grabbed his hand gently. "Good news though Jaha is alive."

"That is good news you're not a murderer." I scrunched my nose up. "But bad news cus he's still alive." I looked at Bellamy and saw a light smile threatening his lips. "Damn it Bell, you get given one job and you manage to screw it up." I nudge him as he laughed. He pulled me down next to him.

"You're not all bad! Even if you do irritate me." I feigned hurt. "And challenge me." I clutched my chest making out I'd been stabbed in the heart. "And you kick girls out my tent." I turned to him at the last comment.

"Seriously though, I did you a favour. You don't see her with the other guys when you're not here!" He laughed.

"But!" He continued "you're an amazing person Athena Michaels." Hang on where did he learn my last name.

"When or where did you learn my last name?" I asked sitting up.

He looked at me pity and regret on his face. "I was a cadet in the guard. They spoke about you a lot." I nodded at him, tears threatening my eyes again. "I know what happened." He gently ran his hand over my arm. I pulled back, slowly getting off the makeshift bed. He reached for my wrist.

"Get off!" I yelled and ran out the tent. On the way out I bumped into Clarke.

"Athena? Athena" she yelled after me. I ignored her. The pain of what happened in the skybox still, weighed heavy on me. And knowing that he knew all the stuff that happened. I ran over to a bush and vomited. I promised I wouldn't let myself get close enough to anyone, but I did and he already knew what went on. How much did he know though? Why didn't he stop it?
