Secrets - Bellamy blake

Grounder

I jerked awake after the dream as I did my tent flap opened. I blinked seeing Bellamy stood there worry and fear on his face. Seriously this guy needs to learn a few more emotions.

"Have you seen Octavia?" He sounded out of breath. I shook my head. "I've checked camp and I can't find her." I pushed myself out of my cot and grabbed my jacket.

"Wake everyone up. The more eyes we have the better chance we have of finding her." He nodded as we went round camp waking everyone. Once everyone was gathered near the dropship Bellamy told them they needed to arm themselves and that we weren't coming back until she was found. Suddenly everyone looked to the sky. We saw hundreds of shooting stars strak across the morning sky,

"They didn't work!" Raven gasped holding onto Finn. "They didn't see them!"

"A meteor shower tells you that?" Bellamy said turning to her.

I looked at Clarke and shook my head. That wasn't a meteor shower I thought.

"That's not a meteor shower." I finally voiced. "That's a funeral."

"Hundreds of bodies being returned to the Earth." I looked back at Clarke, seeing her face pale. "This is what it looks from the other side. They didn't get our message." Looking up I secretly wished, or rather hoped, that my mother was amongst those falling. Out the corner of my eye I saw Raven stride over to Bellamy face full of anger.

"This is all because of you." A small argument insued. I walked away not wanting to listen anymore. I too focused on wanting to find Octavia. She could be with the Grounders, being tortured, or worse. The argument must have stopped because they all started moving away, and towards the forest. I saw Clarke, Finn, Raven and Jasper hanging back. Rather than go over and see what was up I jogged over to Bellamy.

As I reached him he quickly looked at me. "We will find her." I told him not looking at him. I could see him nod slightly. I knew he was having the same thoughts as me. Neither one of us wanting to say the words. I don't know what I would do if something bad has happened to her. I knew I would feel pain, anger and want revenge. But it would be nothing compared to what he would go through.

We walked in silence everyone on their guard and keeping their eyes open. Someone shouted for us. We ran over and looked at where they were pointing. We could see a belt hanging on a branch. Bellamy called for some rope and climbed down. He looked at me and nodded. My stomach dropped, you know the feeling you get when you are falling in your dreams? Yea well it was like that. Jasper climbed down, I followed shortly behind. Much to Finns annoyance. When I got down I saw them both crouching over some blood on a rock. Bellamy touched the blood to see if it was fresh. Sure enough it was. A noise from behind me made me jump and turn. I saw in the orange glow Finns face.

"Someone else was here." Bellamy stated. Finn showed us that the tracks were deeper and were going off in the direction in front of us. "He was carrying her."

Jaspers face lit up. "If they took her. She's still alive. Just like when they took me." I looked at him. He was always optimistic. It's what I loved about him.

We went on our way and was met by the others. After a few minutes of walking we stopped at a clearing. Rotting skeletons and spikes littered the place. I looked at a sign, unsure of what it said. Finn came up next to me. "I don't speak Grounder. But I'm pretty sure this means keep out." I scowled at him. I could hear murmurs from behind. I turned to see a few of the others walking away. Cowards I thought.

"Go back if you want." Bellamy told them. "My sister. My responsibility."

"I'd walk into hell to find her." Jasper told him firmly. I looked at Finn a worried look on my face. Something to me we just did. We carried on walking for what seemed like ages. Suddenly we realised that we'd lost the tracks. Finn said we should back track. Bellamy was having none of it.
