Tears filled his eyes as he continued to fall. The air blew past his ears making a whistling sound. He was useless he had no job to do. He hit the ground hard hearing a loud crack as he made contact. Wincing in pain he tried to stand up only to fall back to the ground. His back stung even worse as dirt clung to the bloody wounds. He laid there for a moment staring at the sky whimpering in pain. Tears fell from his eyes running down his cheeks. A strong breeze rushed around him, the cold hitting his bare upper body. It was late fall and the sun was setting fast. Peter attempted to stand once more leaning on a tree for support. Once he got his baring's he pushed on through the forest. Exiting the wooded area he saw towering buildings up ahead. He knew were he was going he had seen the path he wanted to take walked hundreds of times. Limping through the crowded streets, harsh glares were cast his way. He found the building he needed and walked inside feeling more comfortable in the warm temperature. He walked to the elevator the door opening up for him. Stepping inside he pushed the correct button and waited for the doors to reopen. Once open he exited and stumbled to the apartment he needed. He raised his hand to knock freezing in his place, understanding what he was about to do. He knocked weakly leaning on the wall for support as he waited.

"Who the fu-" The door swung open revealing a tall man. His sentence was cut short seeing the male.

"Yo-you di did this." He choked out before passing out. Wade caught the smaller boy as he began to fall. Looking down the hall Wade pulled him into his apartment and laid the boy on his couch. He stared for a second confused at what was happening. He raked his brain trying to remember if he's ever seen him. Shaking his head he looked down seeing how terrible he looked. Blood and mud every where on his body two giant gashes in his back.

"Damn what the hell happened?" Wade mumbled to himself walking to the bathroom. He grabbed a bunch of rags and a first aid kit. He didn't know why he had one in his apartment but he was glad he did at the moment. He walked back to his living room kneeling next to the passed out person on his couch. He picked up a rag realizing he forgot to get water. Standing up again he grabbed a bowl of warm water. He returned to his spot dampening to the rag and cleaning the mud and blood from the boys body. Wade couldn't figure out why he was helping a random stranger who passed out on his door step but he was. When he was done he sat the boy up and studied the gashes trying to figure out what it was. He picked away what seemed to be feathers from around the wounds just making his confusion worse. He dabbed at the injuries flinching a bit himself. He dug around in the kit finding a needle and stitch thread. Carefully he began to work being very careful and delicate which was something new for him. He finished his work wrapping a bandage around the males torso. He stood up and sat in the chair across from the couch staring at the person. He soon dosed off before being woken up by a cry of pain. Opening his eyes he saw the male sitting up flinching.

"Oh joy you're up." Wade said sarcastically while stretching his limbs out.

"Oh uh ye-yeah." He answered looking down to his feet.

"Sooooo care to explain who you are, why you showed up at my door, claimed i did that to you, and why the fuck you have no shirt? Well i mean i'm not complaining about the no shirt thing, just wondering." Wade tried to joke a bit but got no reaction from the boy.

"I i'm Peter..." Peter choked out his throat dry.

"Wade." Was all the response he got so he continued.

"I I came here because you're the only person i know.... and i mean i guess you didn't do this to me but you caused it at least." Peter muttered getting a strange look from the other man.

"How did i cause that I've never seen you before?" Wade pushed expecting to get answers one way or another.

"You you can't die, you made me useless." Peter sobbed tears forming in his eyes again. Wade was even more confused then before. How did he know about him and his powers but what did him having powers have to do with him being useless? Wade mind ran wild trying to connect the dots.

"Okay how do you know that and how did that happen?" Wade continued. Peter sighed thinking of what to tell Wade.

"Well I sorta know everything about you.... " Peter wiped away the tears from his face.

"What are you like my stalker or something?" Wade asked beginning to get creeped out.

"What no...I'm I'm well sorta uh your um guardian... angel." Peter whispered the last part hoping Wade hadn't heard. But from the way Wades eyes had grown he knew he had.

"Haahhahaha funny now seriously." Wade laughed before his voice became dark. Peter shrunk back becoming scared.

"No i'm i'm serious. That's why my backs like this, my wing were removed and i was cast out of heaven..." Peter looked down at the ground his memories of what had happened hours before rushing into his head. Wade shook his head trying to wrap his brain around what was being said.

"So you're my guardian angel who was thrown out of heaven because I can't die?" Wade tried to recap. Peter nodded his head slowly.

" I have nothing to protect you from I'm just not needed." Peter sighed.

"So your human now?" Wade wondered eyeing the boy. Peter shrugged flinching right after. Wade sighed standing up and leaving Peter in the living room. He returned soon handing a large shirt to the boy.

"Here go sleep in my room it'll be better for your back. But we aren't done with this i still got a shit ton more questions to ask but you need sleep and I need to go do a job." Wade ordered pointing to his bedroom. Peter nodded a small smile forming on his face.

"Okay..."
