New Family Member

Peter sat at the kitchen table typing up a paper. He read over his essay making sure everything was perfect before he emailed it to his professor. Hitting send he leaned back in his chair proud of his work. Glancing at the clock he realized what time it was and began to wonder where his boyfriend was.

"Wade?" Peter called only to have no response. His stomach growled making his wonder grow since Wade was supposed to pick up food. As if on cue Wade entered the apartment.

"Petey, come here!" Wade yelled from the front door. Groaning Peter stood up walking to the living room and plopping down on the couch.

" What the hell took you so long?" Peter asked eyeing the box Wade held in his hand. Wades face dropped.

"Fuck I forgot food...." Wade trailed on making Peter groan even louder out of annoyance.

"Hey but i got something better."Wade continued setting the box down. and reaching inside.

"What could be better then foo- OH MY GOD!" Peter cut his sentence short and jumped up from his spot. Wade held a small little puppy in his arms smiling at his now excited boyfriend. Peter ran over taking the animal carefully.

"It's so cute!" Peter squeaked holding the dog close.

"The lady said shes a German Shepard." Wade explained scratching the puppy's head.

"So shes ours?" Peter asked looking at Wade hope in his eyes.

"Yup, shots and everything already taken care of." Wade smiled at the way Peter was acting. Peter was very mature compared to Wade but when it came to dogs Peter became a child. Peters smile grew and he hugged Wade careful of the puppy.

"I love you, so much." Peter laughed leaning up and pecking Wade lips.

"I love you too, Petey." Wade laughed holding Peter in a side hug and watching the animal.

"So what's her name." Wade asked remembering they couldn't just call her nothing. Peter thought for a second.

"How about Bella?" Peter suggested. The puppys ears perked up and she turned her head to face Peter.

"Huh well I guess she likes it." Wade laughed at the dogs reaction. Peter smiled petting the puppy before smirking and holding her up to Wades face.

"GAH!" Bella started to lick Wades face excitedly leaving trails of drool. Peter burst out laughing as Wade wiggled away from the animal. Both settled on the couch Peter snuggled into Wades side as bella slept on his lap. He pet her soft fur the smile never leaving his face. Wade switched on the T.V. focusing on what was on the screen.

"don't we have to get stuff for her?" Peter asked Wade.

"Huh? oh no i already got it, it's in the box." Wade smiled at the concerned look Peter wore.

"Wow you knew what you were doing." Peter chuckled.

"I always do." Wade responded, Peter rolled his eyes at the false statement. Peter laughed to himself about his thought.

"What so funny Baby?" Wade asked confused at the fits of giggles that came from Peter.

"It's like were a little family."
