Can't Sleep

It had been weeks since Peter had last been able to sleep. Being a hero was one thing but not being able to sleep after saving the city made it hard for Peter to push himself to slip on his suit and swing around. After a long night of patrol Peter felt drained not even sure if he could make it home. He sat on a roof holding his head in his hands trying to force himself to get up. Peter felt a tug on his mask making him look up to see another person standing in front of him. He was confused of why his senses didn't go off but he just assumed it had something to do with being tired. 

"Whatcha doin Baby Boy?" Wade asked, sitting in front of the other. Peter just groaned in response not willing to put up with Wades shit. Peter pulled off his mask to reveal his clouded eyes and dark bags topped with a mess of hair. 

"Wade, please." Peter mumbled, a yawn soon following. 

"Wow and I thought I looked bad." Wade tried to joke with the younger boy. Peter didn't respond to tired to laugh. 

"When was the last time you slept?" Wade questioned examining Peter. 

"um..." Peter thought realizing he couldn't answer the question. 

"Alright the fact that you don't even know is concerning." Wade sighed standing up and moving closer to the hero. 

"I'm fine I just needed to rest..." Peter mumbled back. Wade lifted the boy bridal style.( Already discussed its not called anything else).

"What are you doing?" Peter asked but not trying to push Wade away. 

"Making sure you get some sleep before you pass out and get yourself hurt." Wade explained actually concerned about the boy he held in his arms. Peter hummed in response resting his head on Wade shoulder finding comfort in Wades warmth. Wade began to make his way to his apartment not really wanting to deal with climbing the Avengers Tower. Holding Peter made the journey a bit more difficult but Wade still smiled when he heard soft snoring as he climbed a fire escape. Wade made it through his window his heart stopping as he stepped on an empty beer can. Peter still slept allowing Wade to breathe again. Managing to make it to his room without tripping over the junk he had thrown everywhere. He laid Peter down gently covering the hero with a blanket. Wade stood for a while staring at Peters resting face as it glowed in moonlight. Letting out one final sigh he exited the room finding a pair of sweat pants he changed out of his suit and laid on his couch watching the T.V.

"Wade?" Wade looked to his room hearing the weak voice. Getting up he walked into the room seeing Peter sitting up seeming alarmed. He could hear Peter let out a sigh as he appeared. 

"Hey it's okay, Petey." Wade cooed walking over to Peter making sure to stay out of the moons light. He sat on the edge of the bed gently pushing Peter back into a laying position. Wade ran his hand through Peters hair hoping to calm him back to sleep. Wade released a yawn tiredness taking over himself. He looked down when he felt Peter pulling on his arm.
"Whatcha need?" Wade whispered, feeling strange breaking the silence in the room.
"Lay down." Peter mumbled, pulling on Wades arm again. Wade did as he was told on laid down next to Peter. Peter tossed the other half of the balnket over Wade and moved closer to the heat. Peter curled into a ball resting his head on Wade chest, and closing his eyes. Wade laid an arm  over Peter also closing his eyes enjoying the warmth and the sound of Peters rythmic breathing as it lulled him to sleep.
"Good Night."

Yeah so thats that.... uh I'll try and post a part to lies tomorrow idk if thats gonna happen or if it just gonna be another oneshot. Also school start next Wednesday...RIP.... but that means things might change with amount of updating.  And I'm not saying I'm not going to be updating its just maybe wont be a every day sorta thing maybe every other day.
