Next Door 2

Peter ran back to his work his face on fire. 

"Bad introduction?" The girl known as Alyssa asked seeing her boss a flustered mess. Peter rubbed his face attempting to remove the red. He didn't know what to think as he looked at the beautiful flower in his hand. 

"Uh I really couldn't tell you..." Peter trailed on, finding a glass he filled it with water and set the flower into it setting it on the front desk. He walked away only to turn around and rush back. 

"oooooo! Seems it went really well." Alyssa laughed reading the note Peter had forgotten to remove the red returned to his face. 

"How the hell did I forget to remove that......" Peter grumbled ripping the embaressing note from her hands and stuffing into his pocket. He walked over to a box and started to remove its content.

"Soooooooo You gonna, take him up on his offer?" Alyssa asked unloading another box. Peter sorta shrugged, yeah he thought the other guy was cute but Peter wasn't much of the dating type.

"I don't even know the dudes name...." Peter mumbled realizing he failed to get that information.

"What that's why you went over there!" Alyssa yelled throwing her hands in the air.

"I was embarrassed he called me cute the gave me that note I had to get out of there before i had a fucking panic attack." Peter responded to his employee. Peter and Alyssa finished unpacking falling into the chairs in the waiting area. 

"Call him." Alyssa blurted out surprising Peter. 

"What?" Peter responded his eyebrows furrowing.

" Call the dude next door come on you need to get out there or you'll die alone." Alyssa brought back the dating subject. Peter groaned in annoyance. 

" If I do it will you shut up?" Peter sighed looking at Alyssa who nodded her head vigorously. Pulling out the slip of paper Peter let out one final sigh before dialing the number. Holding up the phone to his ear he listened to the few ring before a voice answered.

"Who the hell is this and why the fuck are you calling at 2 in the god damn morning?" The voice snapped it sounding groggy. Peter bit his lip and closed his eyes before looking at the clock that hung on the wall. 2: 06am the clock read, Peters face turned read again the embarrassment returning once again. 

"Oh god, I'm sorry I Didn't know it was so late." Peter spoke rapidly getting ready to end the call.

"Hey, Hey wait I recognize that voice.  How ya doing hot stuff?" The voice responded making Peter slouch in the chair. 

"uh Good i guess... um I uh I never got your name..." Peter closed his eyes tightly. 

"Names Wade." Wade answered the question face palming he didn't tell Peter. 

"Oh hi Wade." Peter giggled slightly not knowing why. Wade smiled at the noise. 

"So what up Baby Boy feelin lonely need a... little company?" Wade flirted with the other. Peters eyes widened at the question.

" Wha- ewww no pervert." Peter responded slight laugh escaping. Peter was flirted with all the time it always made him uncomfortable before but with Wade doing it for some reason it wasn't so bad. 

"Hey can't blame me." Wade laughed slightly.

"No i really called to get my friend to shut up about calling you...." Peter realized how dumb he sounded. 

"Ah i see...Hey since I got you what about letting me take you on a date?" Wade asked hope filling his chest. Peter thought for a moment not sure if he really wanted to take a chance on the man.

" uh okay sure i guess." He mumbled not sure of what else to say. 

"Sweet I'll pick you and your adorable face at 7 tomorrow." Wade ordered proud that he had scored a date.

" uh okay..." Peter smiled to himself not believing he was going out with the stranger.

" Alright Baby boy go get some sleep, good night." 

"Night." The call ended as he pulled the phone from his ear. Looking at Alyssa she was practically jumping in her chair. 

"your going on a date aren't you?" She asked flailing her arms in the air.

"yeah..." 

" I get to help you get ready!" Alyssa cheered jumping up.

"Oh Lord"
