Kind of a short chapter? Just a filler before we really start getting into the good stuff. I hope you all are enjoying the new direction the series is, and hopefully will continue to change.

The only way to get the two bikes over to La Push was to take Bella's truck, so after loading them up Bella drove on over. As they both exited the truck, Skylar smiled fondly as Jake ran up to them.

Squeezing Bella into a hug, he tightened his grip on her as he spun her around. "Bella! Where the hell have you been, loca?"

Skylar made her way over and leaned into Jake, beaming when her sister actually laughed.

"We, uh, actually brought you something. It's a little crazy," Bella said as she pointed behind her. At Jake's nod, she backed up and threw the tarp over the bikes.

"Wow," Jake chuckled. "Scrap metal. You guys shouldn't have."

Raising her eyebrows at her friend, Skylar winked. "It was our pleasure, really Jacob. Don't sound so thrilled at your gift."

Bella nodded, examining the bikes. "I saved it from being put in the junkyard. I think they'll probably cost more to fix than they're worth, but then I thought that if I had a mechanic friend to help me out then..."

"Ah, me being the mechanic-type friend?"

"That's right," Bella whispered, looking embarrassed and glanced at her sister for help.

Switching his gaze between the two sisters, Jake arched a brow. "Since when are you two into motorcycles?"

"Since now," Bella replied, almost immediately. "I get it if you think that this is really stupid and reckless."

Jake agreed. "Yeah, I mean, it's completely stupid and reckless... So when do we start?" Bella looked as if she was going to start crying. "Um... Now. Please?"

Gently pushing pass her, Jake pulled the tarp back a little further as he wrapped his hands around the bulk of the bike, making Bella raise a hand. "Oh, hey, be careful. Those things are actually really heavy, so..."

Skylar snickered at her sister's look of astonishment as Jake easily lifted the bike out of the truck. "Our friend here as decided to become a body builder."

"You're like sixteen," Bella shook her head. "How did that happen?"

Jacob hummed. "Age is just a number, baby. What are you, like, forty now?"

Looking taken back, Bella followed the two as they walked towards the shed. "It feels like that sometimes."

They'd been in the small building for just under an hour when Bella got up and turned the radio off. Skylar and Jake looked up, confused to as why she did that.

"That was a good song? You didn't like it?" Jacob asked as he went back to the bike.

Shrugging, she went to sit on the stool behind Jake and Skylar. "I don't really like music anymore, kind of."

"Okay," Jacob nodded. "No more music."

Leaning forward, Bella rested her arms on her legs. "So I was thinking if we're gonna do this every day, and hopefully we will, we have to, like, fit some homework in there somewhere. I don't want Billy thinking that I'm a bad influence on you."

"I've been around Skylar for much longer, so I don't think he's really that worried anymore," Jake joked, nudging the girl sitting beside him. "Besides, me being influenced by you? Please."
