Chapter 7:
Alcohol and bad decisions pt.2
●Lucy's pov●
I already had a few to drink before the boys showed up, which was probably a bad decision.
My heart jumped a bit when I saw them all, I was happy that they all made it.
I've always been attached to them, in a sisterly way, I've never seen the boys as anything more than brothers.
When I leaned up against Natsu I was oblivious to how he was feeling.
After all, they are boys and they may not see me like I see them.
But at the moment I wasn't worried about that, I am more focused on who I am going to be dancing with.
Cana dances explicitly as she moves against the guy behind her.
I figure shes found the guy she wants to go home with tonight.
The rest of us, on the other hand, are still out for the taking.
Mira has her eye on one guy, but she is still trying to work up the nerve to steal him away from his friends.
Lisanna clings to my side like a lost puppy, she is so nervous she doesn't know what to do with herself.
Lisanna has always been popular, but when it comes to her confronting someone she will always back out.
Especially when it comes to a boy.
"What about him?" I ask pointing to a cutie across the room.
Her soft eyes land on him before she shakes her head rapidly "he's with his friends"
"So?" I retort as I sway to the loud music.
"So" she mirrors "he'll probably reject me" she tugs on the bottom of her shorts.
"No he won't" I groan pushing her forward a bit "just go ask him to dance"
"I can't" she tries to move away from me, letting her anxiety get the best of her.
I grab onto her arm and pull her closer "yes you can, you're not as weak as you think Lis"
I then start to drag her across the packed dance floor, the pink and purple neon lights lighting up our tan skin.
"Lucy!" She squeals as she beats at my arm.
I ignore her as I pull her out of the crowd and next to the cute boy, who was probably from a different school.
I tap on his shoulder and he turns around with a questioning look.
His dark brown hair falls into his emerald eyes and I feel my heart jump a bit.
He really is cute.
"Hi" I flash him the brightest smile I could muster as I pull Lisanna forward "my friend was wondering if you would like to dance with her?"
Lisanna is silent beside me as she stares at him with big nervous eyes.
His gaze shifts to her and he takes in her appearance, he gives her a kind smile noticing how nervous she is "sure, why not"
You couldn't hear her relieved sigh over the music and I felt her body relax after hearing his words.
"Have fun" I wink at her, watching a bright smile spread across her face.
