read the authors note at the end please!!"yellow?" Sting pulls out the obnoxiously neon color from the clothes rack.
I turn to judge the article of clothing and roll my eyes playfully.
"I feel like I'd look like a giant banana" I shake my head, a small smile delicately placed on my lips.
The make up of the dress was beautiful: floor length and plunging neckline; but the color was too loud.
Sting snorts at my banana comment "you look good in anything."
We are surrounded by dresses, almost drowning in them practically; we found a dress outlet, and currently we are trying to tackle the matching problem.
"Back at you" I sound like I'm 13 years old again when I try to flirt.
"Oh, you flatter me" he teases as he continues to shift through the size small dresses.
There isn't many people in here with us, considering it's so close to homecoming, everyone has already bought their dresses.
I let out a stressed sigh.
"How about red?" he holds out a knee length dress that sort of looks like a cupcake.
I wince "maybe if I want to be strawberry shortcake"
The laugh that bursts past his lips was unexpected, his pointed teeth showing.
"I feel like blue may suit me better" I turn moving to the colored section.
Sting places the cupcake dress back and follows after me patiently; surprisingly hes not minding my slugishness.
we've probably already been in here for an hour and I haven't found anything, if I were him I would've already ditched me.
"You look good in blue" he announces and my constant smile gets slightly bigger.
"you say I look good in anything" I muse, now shuffling through the blue dresses protected in plastic.
He brushes past me in the cramped isle, moving to my other side to look as well.
"Because it's true, and I'm never wrong" He says confidently.
"We love a confident king" I mumble under my breath just to amuse myself.
I lowkey think the word "king" and "queen" are annoying and its sort of become a inside joke with the girls.
"Dont start with your tumblr bullshit" he rolls his eyes, his earring dangling wildly as he turns his head.
"shut up, you lamp" I turn my nose upwards at his good willed insult.
"A lamp?" he looks over his shoulder, his blue eyes proposing a fight.
"what are you gonna do about it?" I turn as well, surprised at myself that I'm being so friendly.
Sting opens his mouth but shuts it quickly, crossing his arms like a little kid.
"Nothing, because I respect women" He references pewdiepie which makes my nerd alert go off.
"wooow" I nod, turning back the the dresses "what a gentleman"
"you know it" he winks, punching my shoulder lightly.
