Chapter 25: I bring gifts

Honestly, waiting for Natsu is always annoying, he's never late, but recently he's decided that's the way of things.
I look at the poster board laid out on the ground, glue, markers, printed pictures and my old notes next to it.
I didn't want to do anything besides watch him do it, so I made sure that he has everything he needs to not bug me.
I lay back on my bed, my fairy lights lighting up the dim room as always, and I can't help but think I'm baiting him into something.
Me baiting him? Yeah, right.
If anything I'm just having fantasies in my head and he's moved on considering I went out with Sting.
He's gentlemanly enough to not try anything while I'm with someone.
This is the whole reason I didn't want to do anything with him because it would wreck our friendship and the way I feel.
I shake my head as I sit upright again, standing to make my way downstairs for when I have to let him in.
I'm nervous for no reason. I need to calm down.
I plop down onto my black leather couch, which sometimes I wonder is my dads questionable fashion taste, and I begin to do extra research on the Greeks.
The first thing I think to type in is Greek gods, that is the first thing everyone thinks about when they hear about Greece.
"God of love" I type in, pulling up a side note on my phone to keep track of information.
Eros the god of love and sex.
I blink at the answer, totally expecting to see Ares or Aphrodite.
I've honestly never heard of Eros before and it peaked my interest.
The website I opened soon led me down into the dark depths of Greek love and desire and I almost didn't regret it.
Before I knew it my notepad was still empty and Natsu was knocking at the door.
I swallow thickly, tearing my eyes away from the dirty words on my screen.
I almost forgot he was coming.
I exit the website and stick my phone in my back pocket, walking to unlock the door for him.
He was wearing the same black t-shirt he did in school today, this time swapping his jeans out for some sweatpants, and hilariously enough a phany pack.
"What's up, Luce?" He acted completely normal as he walked in with a bag of blue doritos.
I shut the door behind him making sure to sprint into the kitchen to grab some soda before running up the steep wooden stairs after him.
He was already sitting in front of my supplies when I entered the room, the blue bag of doritos which I assume are for me, are sitting alone on my bed.
