A Baby Girl part2

Jeremy's POV

I can't believe my little girl is going in to kindergarten today. It seems like just yesterday we brought her home, now she is going to school. Time sure flys. I remember the day she said her first word, it was Papa of course, she has a favorite but not by much. Man she has grown so fast, today it's kindergarten, if  I blink she be heading to college. Now Michael is doing her hair which he is pretty good at it, which is good because I can't even put her hair in a ponytail without it looking like she has been out in the wild for a week. I'm cooking breakfast for my family as I do everyday.

"Good morning daddy" Amila said as she sat down at the table. She looked so cute in her blue and sliver school uniform with her hair in a braid.

"Good morning Mia" I say placing her food on the table.

"Morning babe" Michael said kissing me on the cheek.

"Morning Michael" I say giving him his plate of food before he has to go to work.

"Since you are dropping her off, I'll pick her up okay Jere-bear" he said sitting next to our daughter.

"Sounds like a plan dear" I reply  sitting with the family. As we eat I can tell Mia has something on her mine that she's not telling us.

"Mia, honey what's wrong?" I asked.

"What happened to my mom?" she asked. Me and Michael looked at each other in shock. We weren't expecting this question till at least the 3rd grade.

"Well honey you don't have a mom" I try to explain but it sounds really bad.

"Everyone has a mom, except me and Noah. We only have dads. How come I don't have a mom?" She asked again.

"Baby girl you do have a mom it's just she was a super hero and she knew she couldn't save the world and take care of you so she gave you to us" Michael said smiling.

"She was?" Mia asked with her eyes wide with excitement.

"Yeah you bet she was, she didn't want villains to try and take you so she gave you to us but remember no one can know honey so keep it a secret" I add to the story. I pick up the empty plates and put them in the sink so I can clean them later.

"Well I'm off to work, I'll see you after school sweetie, bye Jeremy.I love you two so much" Michael said before he kissed my and kissed Mia on the forehead. He waved as he left out the door.

"Bye papa, love you" Mia said as she waved goodbye out off the window.

"Well Mia my dear let get you off to school" I say grabbing her back pack and open the door. My little girl walks behind me as we head to the car. The ride was silent till the small girl brought up a question she loves to ask.

"Daddy can we get a puppy?" She asked. Me and Michael have been thinking of get her a puppy but it takes a lot of time and training that I'm going to have to do since I work from home.

"Mia, me and papa are still thinking about it" I say.

"Okay if we do get a dog I want a pitbull lad mix" She said. She just loves dogs she knows every breed. We get to the school and walk to her class room. She instantly saw Noah and was about to run to go play with him but she turned around and gave me a big hug.

"I love you daddy I'll see you after school" she said. There they were the tears started flowing from my face as she let and went to go play.

"I love you two Mia" I said as the teacher walked up to me.

"First day is always tough for the parents, so are you or mommy coming to pick her up?" the teacher asked. The looked a little closer at the teacher and instantly recognize her.

"Christine, Amila's papa is coming to pick her up" I say.

"So you?" She questioned.

"No Michael" I say.

"Oh, you guys got married? I didn't think you guys would last that long" she said.

"Well we did, he is going to pick her up, and I should be going. Say hi to Jenna for me" I said as I walk away. I get to the car ruin some errands.

I was sitting on the couch reading a book when Mia walked though the door tears ruin down her face with a vary angry Michael following behind.

"What happened?" I asked as I run to Mia hugging her.

"Kids made fun of her and Noah at school today, and the teacher did nothing" Michael explained.

"They said it's weird to have two dads and no mom, one of the girls hit me too" she said. I look up to Michael then back down to my baby, I hug her so tight.

"It's going to be okay baby, we are going to complain to the school and make sure it never ever happens again" I say.

"And we're getting that puppy, and we are going out to get ice cream as a family" Michael said picking up the little girl and we walk to go get ice cream. Soon after the ice cream we go to Rich and Jake's house to talk about what happened today and so Mia can play with Noah.
