Michael's POV

I dropped the note in disbelief, he's gone I couldn't stop him. The tears start steaming down my face as I fall to the floor. Rich trys his best to comfort me, it didn't work but I know he was trying. He pulled me into his small but strong arms and held me as I cryed.

"Shhh, it going to be okay babe. He's in a better place now no one can hurt him" he said as he stroked my hair.

"I wasn't there for him, he needed me and I wasn't there" I cryed.

"Mikey baby, you can't blame yourself for this. You there for him as much as you could, he was just in to deep" Rich said. The rest of the night was spent with me crying in Rich's arms. This is my fault, I couldn't save him.

Jeremy was cremated, and his dad even let me keep some of his ashes. I put some in a necklace and the rest in a beautiful sealed box. I miss him so much, he's been gone for over a year now. Rich has helped me get though all the stages of grief. I'm so grateful to have somebody like him by my side. Even though my heart will forever belong to Jeremy, I would be happy to spend the rest of my life with Rich. I still regret not telling Jeremy my feelings but I'm glad to know that he felt the same. Not only did I lose my best friend but I left the love of my life, my soulmate. Yes I am sad, but I will celebrate the times that we had together. I will move on with my life because it's what Jeremy would have wanted. Rich and I are engaged to be married. He makes me happy, this is what Jeremy would have wanted. Will never forget Jeremy and I know he is forever watching over me. He is my guardian angel and he will forever remain in my heart.

Rich and I have been married for a year now and we are adopting a little boy today. He was perfect, brown hair bright green eyes and freckles. He was 5 months old. We signed the papers and started thinking of names.

" Percy?" I asked.

"I was thinking Jeremy" Rich said.

"Really?"

"Yeah"

"Thank you Rich, I love you"

"I love you too"
