"So Nash-''
Jake had Nash pinned against the locker, hands on her tiny waist and eyes glued to hers.
Nash stared into his crystal blue eyes, wondering how the sea got trapped in them.
Wondering how such an awful person pertained the most beautiful blessing.
Blue eyes.
"I'm really sorry for..everything I've done. It was completely out of line and I'll never try anything ever again. Without your permission, of course."
"We aren't happening again, Jake. You hurt me." She said, no emotion or second meanings behind her words.
"I realized my mistake and I'm sorry..cant we atleast try?"
"We can try to be friends. You were my first love and I'll never forget that.''
"I dont do girl boy friendships."
"I was your girlfriend from eighth grade to senior year..trust me, I know all about your friendships and I mean for this one to be strictly platonic. No physical stuff whatsoever."
"You've really changed. You used to be a freak in the-"
"That- well now I guess.. you'll never know." She teased, moving out from beneath his arms.
"I'll see you around, JJ?" She asked, using the nickname she made when they started to date.
She knew he hated that nickname.
"Hopefully you will." Jake flirted, waving goodbye to the love of his, 18 year old, life.
Saying goodbye to the past and saying hello to his future.
Saying hello to his football scholarship.

"Why the hell were you talking to Jacob O'Conners?"
"Ensuring his entrance into heaven." Nash grinned, laying back on the couch of Zayn's office.
It was a small, regular office with a big desk and chair behind it.
The shades were almost always drawn down and the door was required to be closed for student teacher confidentiality.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Zayn's little patience shined through, grabbing onto Nash's hand.
"Hey..hands off pervert." Nash says in a playful tone although her facial features were borderline angry.
"Why were you talking to him?"
"Because he was my first kiss, first crush and first..physical lover. He was my best friend and we went through high school together. Stop being so immature Zayn, its unattractive."
"You know whats unattractive? You hoeing around. Jess, Harry, me, and Jake."
"First of all, its 'Jess, Harry, Jake, and I.'
Second, I'm not a hoe. A girl can have guy friends and not open their legs for them, you meninistic asshole."
Third, does Headmaster O'Conner know you have bourbon, rum, and God knows what in that cabinet?""You're right," Zayn agrees with Nash, moving to Nash's side.
"I'm so sorry baby girl, I've just been so stressed lately...Heather's planning her funeral and will and she wants to donate her..everything to children. Her heart, lungs. Even her skin, for the victims of third degree burns."
"Huh..maybe she's not a bitch after all." Nash's subconscious speaks to herself through Zayn.
"I'm so..I cant explain how stressed I've been. Any time a phone rings I jump. She's at Holy Grace Hospital."
"I'm so sorry Zayn. I dont even know what to say because I know nothing could ease your pain right now. How long were you guys together?" Nash sympathizes, hugging Zayn in her arms.
"5 years."
"That's as long as Jake and I." Nash thinks out loud, "What can I do to talk your mind off it?"
"Kiss me."
