"Oh my god she's-"

"Such a whore, I knew it."

"I wonder who her baby daddy is? Is it Jesse or Jake? Ohmygod what if it's Harry!"

"Look at her, she looks so tired."

"She's a whore."

"Slut."

"Class quiet down...Ms. D'Martinez what are you doing here?" The Italian language teacher asked, his voice firm.

"Going to class.." Nash replied with a confused look on her face

"Please go to the principal's office."

"O..okay." Nash stuttered and left the classroom, walking towards the principals office.

The freshmen were scurrying around their lockers, whispering to themselves.

Silently judging her.

The whispers didn't die down, they never did.

The principal was waiting for her, along with Zayn.

What was happening? Nash asked herself.

"Ms. D'Martinez, your parents voided all of your tuition money..said you were going to public school. Why are you here?"

"Oh I'm um..okay thank you." Nash said, holding her tears in as she left the principals office and ran into the nearest restroom.

Which happened to be the males'.

Nash ran to the faucet and cried, she couldn't help her tears.

"Are you alright?" Lizard asked.

"No, I'm not."

"You're in the males restroom..just so you know."

"Oh, I didn't know..wait..why are you here?"

"Im not a girl..or at least I won't be soon." Liz confessed, staring into Nash's crying brown eyes.

"O-oh...wow I had no idea."

"That's kind of the point." Liz smiled, sitting next to Nash on the cold tiled floor.

"By next year I'm going to be Luke..what are you going to be?"

"Struggling to pay bills..but happy. This child will bring me joy."

"I sincerely hope that happens. I have to go to class, Nash. Good bye and good luck."

"Wait! L-Luke..can you..can I have your phone number? I really need friends right now."

"Of course." Luke smiled a pretty smile, flashing pretty white teeth.

And so they exchanged numbers.

That was the start of a brand new friendship, and it all started because of Daisy.

A year ago Nash would have been transphobic and rude, but this year she's different.

She's kinder.

And kindness would always conquer hate.
