"So Emma, Grayson's ex, is your twin?!" Mel's eyes widened as she sat on the floor of what would be Daisy's room.
Nash and Mel were painting the room Daisy's room a gray color, to symbolize gender doesn't have to be bound to specific colors.
It was Mel's idea, of course.
"I know..I'm so disturbed about it all..its gross."
"Disgusting." Mel agreed, rolling the paint all over the walls.
"That's why he went to the auction ball with Claire..he was so upset about it afterwards. Please don't be mad at him, it's really not his fault."
"We're too different, Nash. I love him and I want to be with him but I respect myself..your parents, the way they talk to me...it's horrible."
"Inexcusable. They are absolutely wrong, Mel. You're wonderful, and kind. And Gray is so lucky to have you, you make him a better person. Please don't leave him. He'll be shattered."
"Nash do you know what it's like to be called 'little black whore' , 'Barbie slut', and ' slutty gold digger' by your boyfriends parents?"
"My dads an asshole, but that doesn't mean Grayson is.."
"Nash..he has a millionaire inheritance and I'm just going to be some maid struggling to pay rent. It's better if we just end it now, I'm holding him back." Mel said sternly, blinking to hide her tears.
"Mel it's your choice..but just know that Gray loves you so much, he stood up to his dad and he-he's shook..I don't know how but you leaving broke him."
"He's staying in the guest house, right?" Mel murmured, continuing her diligent painting.
"Yes. Do you want me to call you a taxi?"
"Yeah...I'm going to fix this. I'm not giving your dad the satisfaction of seeing us broken up."

A nervous Mel knocked on the door the guest house, waiting for Grayson to answer patiently.
He finally answered, only to look like a mess.
Mel began calculating how many nights he hadn't slept due to the bags under his eyes, sympathizing at his messy hair and marveling at his shirtless body.
It was a contemplation of happy and sad emotions.
They hadn't spoken since the Auction Ball, which was nearly a month ago.
"Come to the park with me?" Mel asked, looking at his hazel colored eyes.
"Yeah..I'm going to get my shoes on."
Mel stayed outside, looking at her feet while waiting to Grayson.
He came out once again and took Mel's hand, closing the door behind them.
They walked to the park, which was five miles away.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"Do you love me, Gray?"
"I don't know..maybe?"
"Do you want to be with me?"
"Of course I do." Grayson said, pulling her closer to him, "Do you want to be with me?"
She sat on his lap on the swings, their chests touching as her head laid on his shoulder.
"Don't expect me to go to more family dinners though.." Mel said, loving the sound of Grayson's heart and how fast it was.
Grayson laughed and looked down at his Melanie, smiling at how gorgeous she was.
She pressed her lips to his softly, knowing that because of his condition, everything physical between them had to go slow.
"I've made up my mind and I know now..I don't love you, I'm in love with you. Everything about you."
"I'm in love with you too." She said, kissing Grayson with a little more passion than before.
Just as Grayson and Melanie had a moment, Jesse and Nash were having one too.
"I can't believe we're finally done!" Nash exclaims, planting a kiss on Jesse's lips.
They had been building the nursery the entire day, and now they were finished.
"Jess we're going to have a family." Nash smiles in disbelief while Jesse grinned.
They were on the floor of Daisy's room, gazing up at all the golden lanterns they put on the ceilings which resembled stars.
"I got the job," Nash smiled, turning to Jesse.
"At Marvins Room?" Jess asked skeptically, he really didn't want her working there but it wasn't up to him.
"They're the only ones who would hire a pregnant 17 year old. I start on Friday," she grinned.
Once Nash had her mind set on something, that's what she would do.
The plan was that Nash would pay the bills and Jess payed for the groceries and the babysitter, since he would still be going to college.
Nash would work night shifts, from 9 PM to 4 AM.
She could be a stay at home mom and still work, her plan was flawless in her eyes.
"Daisy will need you." Jess rationalized, searching Nash's eyes for signs of comprehension.
"And she'll have me. You can go to college in the morning and I work at night..we'll alternate so she can have both of us and Gray and Mel are going to come on the weekends. I'm trying to..you can't quit school for me, Jess. Education is so so important." She emphasizes, thumb brushing against his jaw which she cupped with her small hands.
"Happy wife happy life I guess." Jess smiled which caused Nash to smile.
No matter how difficult the situation was, they were bursting with joy and happiness,
Filled with hope for the future,
And happily in love.
All of them.
Grayson and Mel or Jess and Nash?
