Savannah's POV

I was walking back to the lodging house after I was done selling. I was excited to get back to the lodging house so I could see Race. I have the biggest crush on Race and the only person who knows is my best friend Kid Blink. Even my brother, Jack, Doesn't know and if he did well that's another story. My mind drifted to Race as I walked until I heard a voice behind me.

"Well well look what we have here, Morris" Oscar said making me turn around. I glared at them and crossed my arms. 

"What do you want?" I asked with a little annoyance in my voice.

"Hm what do we want Morris?" Oscar asked with a smirk as he started to circle me. 

"I think she knows what we want" Morris said with the same smirk his brother had. 

"Oh yeah? Well why don't I show you what it would be like" I said and immediately hit Oscar in the face. He tumbled back a bit not expecting the hit. 

"Oh you've messed up now" Oscar said before lunging at me. He tackled me to the ground but I successfully got out of his grip. I thought I was strong enough so I stayed to fight instead of run. That was probably a mistake. Morris came up behind me out of nowhere and held me some I couldn't move my arms. I tried to squirm out of his grip but wasn't successful.

"Now that we have you where we want you.." Oscar said as he put on him brass knuckles. I was suddenly let go as I heard and 'oof' behind me. I looked to see Race had hit Morris making him double over in pain. I looked over at Oscar who looked confused before he was punched in the face by Kid Blink that ran up out of nowhere. 

"Come on Smalls" Race said as he grabbed my hand and the three of us ran down the street. Once we were far enough away we started to walk.

"Smalls Ise know yous like trouble making but you can't fight the Delanceys especially by yourself" Race said once he caught his breath.

"I know, I know" I said since he has told me this a thousand time. 

"Guys Ise have to go see yous later" Blink said before running across the street to the other side. We stayed silent until Race spoke up.

"Smalls Ise uh..." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. I looked at him and raised my eyebrows wondering what he was going to say.

"Ise was wonderin if yous would uh... go on a date with me?" Race said. My heart started to beat faster and I could feel myself start to blush.

"Race, I would love to" I said happily trying not to squeal. Race smiled as he started to do a small dance making you laugh.
