"I could stare at you forever" (Racetrack)

For bchgamer I wanted to have this out earlier than now but I had no ideas. I hope this is okay and that today is a better day for you.

Max's POV

Racetrack and I climbed up the fire escape to reach the roof that we were going to spend our night on. Race was behind me with a blanket in hand that we were going to lay on. We reached the top and walked to the middle of the roof hand in hand.

"This should be a good spot. Right in the middle" Race said as he laid out the blanket. I smiled at him as we both laid down on the blanket. I cuddled up next to him and we both looked up at the stars. There were millions upon millions of stars, each one sparkling in the night sky.

"It's so beautiful" I said amazed by all of the stars.

"They are amazing aren't they?" Race said also amazed by the stars.

"I could stare at them forever" I said.

"I could stare at you forever" Race said making me look up at him to see him looking at me. This instantly made me smile.

"You're amazing you know that?" I said as out eyes never left each others.

"I'm nothing compared to you" Race said making me smile even more if that was even possible.

"You're more than nothing, you are everything. My everything and that's why I love you" I said as my eyes flickered to his lips then back to his eyes.

"I love you too" Race said as he started to lean in. We were about to connect when we heard something well someone.

"Oh um.. sorry.. I um.. I didn't know anyone was up here.. I'll um.. I'll leave" Jack said as he started to turn around but tripped over a crate. "I'm okay. I'll be on my way now" He said as he hurried and got up and rushed down the fire escape. Race and I looked at each other before bursting out into laughter.

"Now where were we?" Race asked once both our laughter died down. 

"Hmm I think about here" I said as I leaned in and connected our lips. Kissing the love of your life while laying underneath the stars was the best feeling ever.
