Day's POV

"I've had enough. I just wanna leave" I told my brother, Crutchy, and best friend, Kid Blink. Mush and I have been dating for almost 2 years but recently we have been fighting and I'm done with all of it.

"Are you sure Day? I mean Mush really does love you" Kid Blink said. 

"I'm sure. I just need a break right now. I can't handle all of this fighting. I just need to pack" I said as I got out a small bag. 

"Where are ya gonna go?" Crutchy asked.

"Somewhere. Maybe Brooklyn if Spot will let me" I said as I stuffed some shirts into the bag.

"How about we go talk to Spot for ya? We could probably get him to let ya" Kid Blink said. 

"Yeah that would be great. Thank you guys" I said as I stopped packing. Crutchy hobbled over to me and pulled me into a big hug.

"Everything will be fine little sis. Don't worry" Crutchy said while we hugged. It was nice to get one of Crutchy's great hugs. It always made me feel a little better.

"Thank you Crutchy" I said as we pulled away from the hug. 

"Alright. wes will be back soon. Don't leave until we get back" Kid Blink said. I nodded with a smile as the two of them walked down the stairs and out the lodging house. I continued to pack while my thoughts took over. I thought about Mush and all the arguments we've had. I really do love Mush but I hate these arguments. What makes it worse is that the arguments are over little things that we shouldn't even argue about. I started to get really upset again. I took a deep breath and decided to go up on the roof to dance. Dancing always helps me clear my mind. I got up on the roof and began to dance while looking over Manhattan.

Mush's POV

I walked back into the lodging house after I was done selling. I walked inside and saw Blink and Crutchy talking with one another. They saw me and immediately stopped talking. 

"Have you guys seen Day?" I asked. They both looked at each other before Blink spoke up.

"Listen Mush wes have to tell yous something" Blink said which immediately made my heart start to race.

"What is it? Is Day okay?" I asked worriedly.

"She's fine but..." Blink said then looked at Crutchy.

"Day is packing to leave. She said shes had enough of all the arguments the two of yous been havin'. She wants to leave" Crutchy said finishing for Blink. 

"What? Where is she?" I asked wanting to talk to her. I love her so much I can't let her leave.

"When we got back she was up on the roof" Blink said. I knew she must be upset. She only goes on the roof to dance which she does when something is wrong. Without saying anything else I ran up the stairs and made it to the roof. I saw Day with her eyes closed while she danced around. I carefully walked over to her and spoke up.

"Day?" 

"Mush?" She asked as she stopped dancing.

"Day I'm so sorry. Please don't leave" I said with pleading eyes.

"Mush.. I can't stay and continue with these arguments" She said.

"You mean so much to me. You're the only thing that keeps me going everyday. If you leave then I have nothing else. I.. I love you" I said as I felt my eyes start to water. Day looked at me with soft eyes before she ran to me and engulfed me into a hug.

"I love you too Mush. So so much" She said into the hug as she began to cry too. I stroked her chestnut brown hair while hugging her. We pulled away and I looked into her beautiful grey eyes.

"We will work together to stop these arguments over little things. I don't want to come this close to losing you again" I said as she nodded and wiped a tear away. I leaned in and connected our lips. The kiss was sweet and passionate. I loved the feeling of her lips on mine and they are the only ones I ever want to kiss again.
