When we broke up the hug, I again, awkwardly stood there like a moron looking at the ground. He was looking down at me like he expected a reply to his speech.
I looked up and said with my voice hoarse from lack of use. "Thanks." I glanced up to see his eyes full of happiness. Who knew that one word would make somebody so happy.
By this time, the sun was beginning to set.
"We better get home soon it's about to be dark. And about that talk, I'm warning you. I don't want you to get too involved with me or you'll get hurt. Don't push me either because I will kill you without a second thought." I said sneering in his face.
These words didn't seem to effect him because he didn't even flinch. He just stood there with a sad expression painted on his face. I then spun around and began walking toward the motel we were staying at.
He followed happily whistling while he trailed behind. We walked in silence, but it felt nice for once to have someone walk beside me. I had always been alone, so why now when I get a little attention, I get excited.
Pssh, this boy will never change me. I like the way I am. He doesn't know pain and suffering so how can he change this person standing here today.
Man I need a car! The walk from town back to the motel took forever. Both of us agreed that we needed a shower and a good nights rest.
"You can go first my lady." he said in a British accent, holding the door to the room for me.
"Don't give me that bullshit." I yelled annoyingly.
He laughed and then got silent for a moment before saying "We need to work on that language missy." he said shaking his finger at me.
I then busted out laughing. "Yeah like that's gonna happen mister." I spoke emphasizing on the mister.
"Then if you won't learn the nice way, then I guess I'll just have to use force." he said with a hint of mischief in his voice.
Cute isn't it? I hope so because that's what I'm going for. thx for reading bye!
