I slowly crept around each corner quietly whispering out to the frightened little rabbit. " Come out, come out wherever you are my little pet." I said menacingly.
I then heard a shuffle of movement by a tall shelf of broken glass. "There you are." I said smiling with joy, my voice rang out into the air.
He suddenly ran out from behind the shelf and sprinted as fast as he could, but he wasn't fast enough. I sprung into the air and landed right on top of him. He squirmed trying to get out of my grasp.
I had a knife in the pocket of my grey cargo pants. I slowly took it out and flipped the poor boy over.
He looked at me with his eyes brimming with tears, "Please don't do this. I beg of you."
I will admit he looked pitiful lying there on the floor staring up at me with his eyes full of sadness. I decided then to make his death quick and as painless as possible.
I quickly whispered a few apologies into his ear. In one swift motion I took the dagger and slit his throat.
His mouth spurted a gush of blood. His eyes rolled back on his head as he died.
For once I felt remorse for those I have killed.
I quickly erased such silly thoughts.
