There was someone following me. The clicking sound of my boots sounded slightly off. I swiveled quickly pivoting on my left foot and turned around.

Nothing no shadow or noise anymore.

As soon as I turned around, that damn clicking started again in sync. I quickened my pace until I broke out into a light jog. I came to a corner and flattened myself against the brick wall.

The footsteps continued and a dark, tall shadow came around the corner. I hit it with full force into it's rib area. The instant I made contact I knew it was a man. What he lacked in height, he made up in strength.

His fist collided with my jaw. I felt it pop out of place. "He's gonna pay!" I thought. I took out a dagger I had in my back pocket of my pants. Before he could counter-attack I jabbed him in the side with it.

I didn't enter deep enough for it to kill him, but he would be having a bad morning the next day. I don't kill my opponent unless I know who is attacking me and why.

He yelped out in pain as the blade passed through 2 rib cage bones. It made a sickening sharp sound.

"Who are you?" I asked questioningly.

I slowly rose so I was standing over his crunched body. He didn't answer after I waited patiently, so I kick his side right where I stabbed him. He cried out in pain again. After a few raspy breaths he was able to answer to question.

"You know who I am. Think back hard. Who brought you slop when you were starving? The little girl with the flaming hair. Poor thing, nobody loved you. You were always alone." he cackled like a crow Davy Gregor the asshole who hated my guts.

"Ha, I remember thinking about killing you so many times. I dreamt in killing you in many different ways, but I couldn't decide which would suit you best.

I always yearned to see the life drain from your face and watch your eyes turn white." I returned his cackle with a menacing fit of laughter.

"Bye, bye asshole." I slit his throat with the dagger.

A huge gush of blood worked its way to the surface. It sprayed my face with its revolting oder.

They were looking for me.

They wanted to take me back into the dark.

A cold shiver ran across my arms.

I left my jacket back at the hotel.

I needed to get back before daybreak.

A little violent. I hope your stomach can handle it! once again I'm grateful to those reading my story. it means a lot to me!
