The next few days were a living hell for me.
Much to my avail, Jason got the bright idea to go out and buy a damn Christmas tree. The dumbass thought he could put lights on it. Of course the lights blew out, creating a huge mess for ME to clean!
He helped a little, but he just made a larger mess for me. He spent almost all his money on the damn tree so he couldn't get presents. I wasn't looking for presents anyway.
Just as we were throwing out all our money (the tree) Jason spotted a mistletoe on the ground. "Oh look mistletoe!" god he sounds like a little girl. How cliché.
I sighed and put my hands in my pockets. Just as I was beginning to get lost in my thoughts, Jason leaned over and kissed me!
I recoiled and punched him in the face. Suddenly before I could stop it, harsh flashes of bad memories filled my head. I started shaking like a little kid.
My knees started to hit each other as I thought of memories I had so desperately tried to suppress. I covered my ears as people's screams filled my hearing.
Blackness started to blind my vision. I quickly ran to my hotel room and slammed the door. I slumped into a corner and cried like a baby.
I knew they would find me again.
It was just a matter of time. After a few minutes I heard soft knocking at my door. "Come out please Serefina." he quietly cooed.
It took me a moment to regain my strength in my legs before I stood up and opened the door.
"I'm sorry about what happened before. It was my own stupidity to embarrass you like that." he said staring at the floor.
