I surveyed the area looking for a chance of escape. I didn't have my gun on me and I knew I wouldn't be able to hit them with my throwing knife from this distance. So to put it basically, I was in deep shit.

Think,  think,  think! My brain couldn't focus because of the deep bullet hole in my thigh.

It would get infected if I didn't get it out soon and my body would start to shut down from the great amount of blood loss.

I ripped my black shirt across my abdomen. I quickly tied the shirt scraps tightly around my now shaking leg. A great amount of blood gushed down my thigh and an immense pain worked its way through my body.

Clenching my teeth as hard as I could, I applied pressure on it. I hissed out in pain quietly.

The gunfire had stopped, but I couldn't see around the huge garbage bin in front of me.

There was a small building entrance only a few feet away. However going in for protection would reveal my location and the possibility of making it in without getting shot was slim. I was at a stand still.

If it wasn't for that damn boy, maybe I wouldn't be in this  predicament! Ugh, I knew he was trouble from the first time I saw him..... but in a way I was drawn in by his enticingly beautiful eyes.

Maybe if he was here.... NO!

I don't need that fool to help me.

I have to try.

This my only chance.

I prepared my leg and stood up slightly only to earn a jolt of pain again. As hastily as I could, I took off in a mad dash to the small wooden door only a few seconds away.

I could here the bullets hitting the ground around my feet and I pushed of harder with my feet to increase my speed.

My fingers grasped the knob and turned the handle. The door flew open!

Thank god it wasn't locked. I rushed inside and slammed the door hearing loud bullets go off all around me.

I slowly sank down under a window right before it shattered into thousands of pieces, like tiny daggers flying everywhere. I abruptly squeezed my eyes shut and covered my face.

Even doing so, I felt tiny trails of blood run down my face.

I slowly shook myself of most of the shards. I steadily opened my eyes being cautious of glass remnants running into my eyes. Luckily there weren't any.

My eyes wandered the tiny shed I sat huddled in.

There were 5 broken windows, 2 empty chairs, an abandoned coffee table, and an emergency backdoor. I crouched and crawled my way on the wooden floorboards.

The shards sinking deep into my bloody hands didn't make it any easier to be inconspicuous either.

Because the house hadn't been visited and properly taken care of in years, there were loose nails and squeaky boards. Every inch I crawled, there worse the pain in my leg got.

By the time I reached my destination, the door I originally came from swung open to uncover a large man with red glasses.

His hair was relatively long, about to his shoulders and he wore a black suite. His eyes were cold and dark, he didn't look like the guy you would  come talk to if you had the option not to.

His large figure strode menacingly toward me, his leather shoes crunching on the shattered glass.

"Well it looks like we have a problem." He spoke dangerously.

His shadow covering my entire body, which was quite a feat considering I was about 5 foot 10.

He stood there for a moment grinning like a mad man, before he began to erupt with insane and hysterical laughter.

O>O what's going to happen next! I'm very sorry for the late update! My grades were dropping and they took away my Wi-Fi as punishment. On top of that I had a writers block and I was procrastinating to getting back to this book a little, but HEY I'm back so.......I hoped you enjoyed and I hope my writing had improved a little bit. At least I feel like it has. But ANYWAY before I get off topic, rate, vote, comment go wild! I would love to here so input for ideas and such so bye! love you guys :p
