1. Originally, this book wasn't going to be a rant book, but a novel. I was going to tell the story of a girl who has Wattpad and essentially complains in her diary about the struggles of Wattpad. The novel was going to tell the story of a disabled girl who dreams of being an author.

2. Winter wasn't going to make an appearance. I was going to keep Winter under wraps, since I had some kind of fear that someone would know his name and know me somehow, and then come to my house and kill my family. I was a skiddish kid.

3. The first title of the book was "The Horrendous, No-Fun but Tolerable Wattpad Life". Since my original idea was to have this book be a novel, the title fit better. But later, after I changed it to a rant book, the title changed (for the better, in my opinion).

4. My real name was always kept a secret, but I wasn't going to use my middle name. Elise is my middle name, which is what I use as my pen name on Wattpad. When I started the book, I was going to use the name "Sarah", which is a name I've always liked. Before that, however, I was called Claire by my friends. I've had many names, but now I'm 100% comfortable with my middle name being used. I eventually would use the name Sarah for a different idea.

5. The cover of the book was going to be a penguin. I had a really cute cover made for my rant book, with a really cute blue penguin- but after I saw another idea peep into my head, I ended up using the meme as my mascot.

6. I wasn't going to be Marvel-obsessed. See, here's the thing about fandoms- you can't leave. Once I joined the Marvel fandom at age 8-9, I've been obsessed ever since. Since I knew that not everyone liked Marvel, I decided I was going to try my best to be less Marvel and more expanded to my references. As we all know, I failed.

7. This book became popular overnight. I woke up about a week after publishing my first chapter, and I had a million gazillion notifications. My book had gotten so popular overnight that it has already placed in it's category. Slowly, it's gotten more popular, and I've even gotten some people messaging me and saying they've told their friends about it. It's been great but also sort of overwhelming, but I wouldn't change it for the world- after all, my only friends on Wattpad met me through this book.

8. Winter wasn't going to have a world-combination kind of personality. I was going to go for a more happy, lovely kitty cat. But that simply wasn't his personality, and soon, he sort of wrote his own story after I started to watch him do things day-to-day. It became clear he was one that would try to conquer the world.

9. I was going to have an alternate personality of mine who shone some good light on topics I was making fun of. Yeah, her name is going to be Sarah, and she was going to be a more happy version of me. But after trying it out, I didn't like the way it sounded, so I scrapped it. Instead, I kept the Winter trend, and eventually started the monthly questions with him.

10. And finally, the 'until next time' ending was invented on accident. I did this ending for a while, since I didn't have any other way to end my chapter. I planned to go back and change it, but after people started to like the sign-offs, I kept them around.
