I let out a loud sigh as I began walking towards the jet. My time in Japan was over and boy was I glad.
Yes it was great seeing yuri, and yes I still have romantic feelings for him, but I'm not ready for a child! Let alone and toddler one!
I sighed and ran my hand through my silver hair stopping momentarily to take a deep breath of the icy air that surrounded me, filling my lungs until they were maxed out with the chilling air.
Suddenly my body jolted forward. "Oof!" The person who had bumped into me complained.
I turned my head to look over my shoulder seeing the small blonde haired Russian boy.
"Oi! Watch it! Some people have things and people to get home to!" He complained as he shoved me aside. Usually I would smile and make a witty comment, but today... today I felt like I didn't have the energy.
After the hot headed blonde entered the jet it wasn't long before he poked his head back out.
"If you want to be left here be my guest but if you want to come home get on now!" He yelled before scurrying back inside.
"Yeah" I called back before looking back over the airport. It was early in the morning, roughly about four. Hardly anybody was boarding planes, walking around by the glass windows of the airport. The night was dark and cold which made me reflect on the decisions I was making. Should I really be throwing away my chance with yuri?... all because I am scared of a little commitment?
My mind began to sort through the pros and cons of the situation.
Pro. Yuri and I get back together.
Con. We hardly talk because we are too busy with the kid.
Pro. I get to have a son, who I could teach and love.
Con. He probably doesn't know who I am, or hates me.
Pro. Yuri may come back to the ice and I can see that beautiful smile of his again.
Con. The child will hold us both back and even though we are closer... we are miles apart.
My feet began walking towards the staircase of the jet. No. I'm not making a mistake. Yuri and my son are better without me there. I'm not a good father figure... plus... Yuri would never take me back after my behaviour.
My foot met the rough, hard staircase as my eyes looked up. The small steps looked never ending as I kept walking up towards the plane.
Once I got to the top, I turned to look over the sleepy town with a mixture of sadness and happiness.
"IF YOU DONT COME IN THIS PLANE NOW IM THROWING YOU OUT!!" I heard the angry blonde Russian boy yell at me.
"Fine okay! Stop shouting!" I said chuckling lightly as I turned my back and walked into the plane.
