Chapter 9

The rest of the ball was a blur, Faith and I danced all night not taking a single drop of blood, she kept asking me about my mysterious lover. I kept telling her that the only thing I knew about where he might be is at my school.

"That's a step closer to finding him!" Faith said. For the rest of the night she talked about my lover saying we need to find him, I did agree to it because if I didn't Faith would tell me I'm missing out on a opportunity of a lifetime.

"You will find him for me?" She asked and made a puppy face her pale brown eyes looked immensely wide.

When we went back home I realised that it was midnight I had to carry Fibi to her room as she was fast asleep. After that I put my pyjamas on took off my makeup and hung my dress up. I crawled into bed and thought about who this guy might be . He could be anybody yet I wanted to see him again.

Yet when I was alone I had a call from Cole, finally.

"Babe!" Cole said "I'm so sorry,my parents couldn't get on to the next available flight! I couldn't call because my phone was out of battery. I'm using the plug, I wish I could be there but my parents are coming out for some ball in the next few months and it's in Cali. Please forgive me"

"I forgive you, it's okay the ball was great. We will see each other again, I'm still waiting" I say.

"Good because I know you are waiting. I don't mind you hanging out with guys, that's what makes you so hot. If I can't see you anywhere wait for me when we are 18, but I'm 18 next year so I can come for you"

"Okay"

"Bliss" He whispered "I love you, don't forget that. Bye babe"

Wow.

The guy just made it a whole another load of awkward.

As I fell asleep Faith started snoring but I didn't care because I was too tired to hear her sleep after a while I fell asleep.

When I woke up the next day I realised I had slept in late until 9 am, and so did Faith since we had a nice relaxing day I suggested that we should go to the beach since we hadn't been yet. I got up and dressed ,it was January yet it was warm I put on a bikini and a jumper and 3 quarters.

"Faith lets go to the beach" I said I was fully dressed and ready I didn't mind going by myself but I wanted a friend to talk to.

She mumbled a yes and got up and dressed in under 5 minutes, we put on our contacts and loads of sun cream on to protect our skin then walked out. It was a sunny day yet a cold breeze went though the air.

It was a minute walk to the beach as we had a view and the end of our garden stopped at where the beach started. We walked along the sand watching surfers ride on waves and people build sandcastles. Little kids messing with sea weed, my new home could be my best home.

"I'm sorry Bliss but we need to find this guy fast or I'm gonna loose it , he is out there he knows who you are, yet you don't know who he is!" She said. "Maybe we will show up on your doorstep, he knows about some other vamps now maybe we could get along with him"

Then Faith have a lecture again about 'him'. He gave me butterflies like Mason did, he looked like Mason yet it wasn't him because he was human. But there was now an issue Vampire Hunters apparently there was some hunters at the Ball disguised as Vamps, this posed a threat as they knew who we were.

I tried to change to topic about the Vamp Hunters it was something else to talk about and kept us occupied.

"I thought our parents said that there were no Hunters around here, well if there are it's even move again or find them" Faith said.

"I know but these ones are supposed to be special as they only hunt Tenebrae" I said. My farther told me because when people told him Vamp Hunters were there they didn't strike just look around.

"Well maybe we can team up with them as Tenebrae are a huge threat and are the only group that need to be killed as human numbers are slowly dropping because of them evil vamps" Faith said.

It was true the Tenebrae were blood thirsty and said to drink 3 litres of blood a day, plus they were the only ones who bite humans. There are 3 stages into becoming a vamp by bite first bite is needing blood, second is getting the super speed and third bite is fangs and needing to wear contacts . There were no half-vamps around any more as being bitten by a certain member of a group will go to that group, some half-vamps were afraid and died.

"Well maybe they just hunt vamps but mainly Tenebrae" I said.

We talked about who they might be for the rest of the weekend, discussing about the special him as well. As time flew by it was Monday again and on Saturday we were all going to Ria's party it seemed ages away and just another party until on Wednesday I found something in my locker.

"We are going to miss our friends!" Faith said as I opened my locker on Wednesday morning, first period was 10 minutes away and Faith wanted to catch up with Ria I was opening my locker when I found a note.

"What is that?" Faith questioned.

I opened the note which read,

'If you are looking for me Bliss I'm never far away

Meet me at Rias party at 10pm at the cream empty room

I will be in the corner with my mask

I will tell you who I am and what you need to know

This may come as a shock but I love you
