Chapter 25

We are now on the beach at 9am setting up everything, the DJ, the bonfire and fireworks we are all stressed out as this day has to be perfect. It was the start of a beautiful summer and a lot of good memories, fun and trips.

"Everything in the right position?" May asked. Both me and May had been asked to help set up the beach bash. Faith was bringing extra food and s'mores in half an hour so I was anxiously waiting for her.

The DJ was busy setting up the music we had have summer songs in the day and at night a few slow songs and nice campfire songs. Miles was bringing a guitar so it would be like camp songs even though I had never been to camp.

"Nearly done!" I shouted to May, I was busy putting the food up and drinks the beach was completely empty as we reserved the beach for the occasion.

"There's Faith!" May shouted and I ran to her,I took the food from her and put it neatly on the wood table. I had sorted everything very neatly crisps and sweets were to one side and drinks to another. The s'mores and sticks were under the table as we wouldn't use them until later, after an hour people started to arrive today was going to be magical.

"Hey there's my girl!" Mason shouted.

I ran towards Mason and gave him a hug, we ran towards the party and danced to any old song, Mary had been banned from the party as she pranked the principal and that deserved her to get banned. As we danced I had the water heart in my pocket so I pulled it out and revealed it to Mason.

"This is something I made" I said. "I made it with my powers" I whispered into his ear.

"How did you Bliss it's incredible I shall treasure this forever" Mason says.

I kissed his smooth cheek and we slow danced to beating heart by Ellie Goulding I asked the DJ to play this song as it meant so much to me I had forgotten about the fight we had and realised that in a relationship you are supposed to have fights it's healthy.

I looked over to Faith, she was walking up to Blake. I watched her, all I wanted for my sister was to be happy.

Hopefully she was finally getting it.

After the song a fast one came on and we decided it was time for a water fight, we grabbed water balloons and water guns as some jocks bought them. Then everybody ran into the water, it was cool and not too cold so it was just right.

The water rushed up my knees, the seas water was a dark blue, salty air came rushing into my mouth making me gag and when I was hit in the back my a water balloon my Mason it was war.

"MASON THIS MEANS WAR!" I shouted at him then I picked up my water gun and blasted warm water into his face making him fall backwards into the water. I laughed and nearly fell over my self but then Mason picked up a water gun and sprayed me. I saw Faith and Vicky pelting each other with water balloons I ran towards them and then they were soaked.

"I'm gonna get you Bliss!" Vicky shouted and she ran towards me pushing me so I fell in the water, I was covered head to toe in salty water.

"We have you surrounded!" Tina shouted.

Then I looked around me and all of my friends circled me and then pelted me with water balloons and splashed water all over me. I was drenched then before I was under water I didn't know how that was possible but it seemed to be.

I ran for my life and dived under water loading my water gun and picking up the sunken ones, we played in the water for hours it was about 2 o'clock in the afternoon before everybody was out. Once I was dried off which took forever since I didn't have a towel for my hair but afterwards we danced.

"This might be the best summer party ever!" Mason said as we danced.

"The day isn't even over yet we still have fireworks,bonfire and my special performance"I told him.

I was so excited about my performance as I was gonna sing two songs an my original song Summer Forever. This was my chance to shine as I hope I could forget about when me and Mason had that right and we was able to except that I was growing more confident.

When the sun started to set all of us sat on the warm thick sand and watched the sun go down it was about 8 pm when the sun had setted. The sky was a piercing red and the sky was a soft pink colour that looks like fresh silk.

"I love you and I have loved today" Mason whispered in my ear as we watched the sun to down.

Once the sun had set it was time for bonfire,s'mores and fireworks but all of that was not until it was pure darkness so we had set all of the fireworks up into a coordinated shapes and colours.

Once the sky had finally set everybody help set up the bonfire and the fireworks, the heat from the fire was unbeatable to go close to. We sat around the fire and Miles jammed out on his guitar all over us clapped in a slow but steady beat.

Then it was my time to shine I asked the DJ to play Summer Forever and I grabbed a mike.

"Hey everybody I'm gonna sing a few songs but first summer forever!" I shouted. A roar of claps were let out and then the music blasted out and I sang.

"Phone rings you're parked outside

Heads my chucks so tight

You got a place in mine" I sang.

As I sang people clapped in the beat I smiled in return.

"We don't have to say goodbye

If it was summer forever!"

I smiled and sang my heart out, I did wish it was summer forever but it had to end but it always came back so everything would be perfect. Everything was perfect because I had everything I needed. Once the song ended I sang my second song Sunset somewhere, I felt in my place and didn't let anything annoy me.

When that song ended we all set up the fireworks Mason and I watched the fireworks set off it was so magical.

"This is going to be the best summer ever" I said. We stared up to the fireworks we kissed in the magical moment. It truly will be the best summer ever.

I didn't have to cheat to get some fun out of it.

When I left behind Cole I wasn't doing it because of Mason, I was doing it for Faith. Not because she hated him, but because I wanted to change.

Change the girl who I once was.

And hopefully that summer would do it.
