Chapter 20

Here I am standing on the stage, thousands of eyes on me of all colours red is one of them, I switched the cd to mine instead of Grandpas. I smoothed down my dress no shoes because of blisters so I had bare feet on the cold stage.

I shivered and told myself no need to worry, I hadn't done this before showing my powers the only person who was seen me doing my powers is my Grandpa. Then the song came though the song I had chosen was Ellie Goulding Beating Heart.

"Go Bliss!" Vasilisa shouted.

Then I did, I saw the candles around the room and I made the flames rise turning and twisting into different shapes. Then there was water so I made the rise, I bought the flames and water close to my dress then I did as I was told and spun. My dress had flames all over it and when I stopped the went away.

I carried on with my routine making different shapes turning and twisting, I listened to the music making it coordinate with music. Eyes were always on me and when the music ended I took a bow and claps filled the halls.

I walked off the stage and ran to Faith

"You did it!" Fiath shouted "that was impressive I could have never done that!"

"Well that is something"Cole said. I smiled in response I had my new friends my underdressed family in usual clothes we laughed.

"Who's he?" Mason asked.

"They are my new friends, Cole, Damien,Millie,Rose and Vasilisa. Well Cole is an old friend" I said.

I smiled at Mason but he just looked away and walked off outside, I followed him but it was like he didn't want me.

"Just leave me be Bliss.Go party with your new friends and your new boyfriend" he said.

"What has gotten into you? I make new friends, see an old one and you so much think that Cole and I were hanging some fling? and you suddenly think I have a crush on him? Mason don't you trust me?" I questioned.

"You have changed Bliss, when I met you I saw a quiet girl now I see a party girl who can't stop using her powers! You look at Cole the way you look at me. Jett told me something about a Cole, you was with him when he was with Vicky. That's low for you Bliss, betraying your cousin? Maybe Mary was right you are a slut" He snaps.

"Mason, I'm not slut. So what if I was with Cole for a while? I wanted to have some fun while I was stuck in that mansion. He showed me human friends, I saw the outside world for once. Cole has nothing to do with me now, yes when I arrived here I was talking to him but we couldn't be together because of the distance"

"So you were with Cole when you were with me?" He asks.

"I don't know"

"Il take that as a yes. And I was told about Blake too, some girlfriend you are"

I looked at him tears were streaking down my face, I knew it was because I wasn't spending time with him I only practised my powers so that they won't burst out. Mason just looks at me and walked off I could have been set off right then but I didn't. I just sat on the floor.

I wasn't there for ages Faith found me and took me inside then I explained to her why I was crying we walked over to my family and my new friends.

"That bastard! I'm gonna find him and break his human neck!" Daria said.

"No just let him be"I whispered "He's right, I have been a slut. I shouldn't have talked with Cole again, or talked with Blake I was trying to be Cole and look how that turned out to be"

"Bliss! He hurt you and now you let him go?" Natalie told me.

I went to get some air out on the balcony,I viscously wiped my tears away I couldn't believe Mason after everything I sacrificed my family for him. Then I heard some footsteps and just ignored them and sat down.

"Can I sit?" A voice said behind me. I turned around so fast that it gave me a crick in my neck which hurt badly. I didn't say anything so I just nodded I realised that when they sat down it was Cole. "Sorry to hear about your boyfriend, I would not be jealous I would be glad you are making new friends. He was lucky to have you"

"Cole I don't want to talk about Mason right now" I said "I'm sorry we didn't keep up to date after the last few weeks, when me and Mason became serious I knew I was still with you. I was trying to be something I was not"

"I know it's just he was lucky to have somebody who is confident and extremely bright. It's a shame I couldn't get here quicker, we could have been together by now" he smiled at me I stood up and walked over to the edge of the balcony.

I looked over the balcony to the black and red gardens they gleamed brightly, i couldn't believe Mason but I also couldn't believe Cole was actually flirting with me after all of this. I guess I did sorta like him but I didn't want to rush anything after just having a breakup.

Cole stood up and took a step closer to me, Cole wrapped his muscle arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder. "If you're not with Mason then what about us?"

I don't know.

I couldn't get Mason back.

I could talk to Blake and now Cole.

"I know that I'm lucky if I had you. Dump that guy and spend time with me? I know you still have feelings for me" Cole said to me.

Then he tilted his head to me and I turned to face Cole, I leaned in and kissed him. This wasn't like a butterflies tingling kiss it was a different type like tiny sparks, a new excitement. He slowly placed his hands on my neck and cupped my face.We were there for ages, until I stumbled back.

"Please" Cole whispered "Be with me"

I looked at him, motionless "Maybe"

Bliss Lockhart you are such a slut!

With that his answer was settled, he kissed me once again. Bliss Lockhart does not cheat but if Mason and I had really broken up was this the end of Bliss and Mason?

Well he was the answer. "This can be our secret, for now" He said.

"That's for the best. You know where I live? Come around sometime" I whispered.

"I would like that. Our little secret won't be such a secret if we are out here where everybody can see us"

"Yeah, if Vicky found out I would be dead. So it's our little secret, and that will be the end of it. When we wanna meet up, we can go to a club if you like. You can't hang around my place Vicky will go mental" I tell him.

"How am I gonna get inside your house? Fly inside? Or jump? I'm no Edward Cullen"

"There's a first time for everything"

"What if I came to your school? We can finally be together!"

"Let's just take things very slow please"

I took his hand and we headed back inside.
