Chapter 15

I was nervous all day butterflies were in my stomach and I found it hard to eat, I planned my outfit and helped out with some of the cooking. I was able to arrange normal drinks like wine for Nicholas and a small non alchohol if drink of Apple burst, kinda like a smoothie, as that's what me and Faith usual have at dinner rather than a small glass of blood.

"Bliss, will you please stop worrying everything will be fine!" Faith says to me as a I pick my outfit for dinner "Everything will go as planned. So stop your damn stressing and help me here!"

"How can I not worry, they don't know that Masons farther is Vampire hunter but maybe is willing to give it up if Mason and I can be together! That's all I've wanted Faith, a committing relationship with Mason. I've never had that before, never with Cole or the last boys that chased me around at nightclubs!" I say.

"Just calm down have a glass of water and go on a walk around the beach then come back, everything will be sorted I promise" Faith said.

I did as she told me, I had a glass of water and went for a walk around the beach once that was done I went for a paddle in the water. Faith was right walking around was very calming I didn't think about anything I just walked around.

When I get back I realised that I had nothing to worry about there was two hours left and I realised that I shouldn't let this dinner get past me. I decided to wear a white floral dress and brown sneakers. It was casual but not too casual for my dinner with Mason and my family.

"Have you stopped worrying now?" Faith asked.

"Yes I have stopped and I feel fine!" I replied.

Even though i knew I wasn't fine.

Then the doorbell went I ran downstairs, Mason and Nicholas were standing there Mason was dressed very smartly with a tie and checkered t shirt plus a blazer.

"Hey!" I said I hugged him. "Please come in my parents are just cooking"

When my parents came down they seemed calm.

"Ah hello you must be Mason and Mr Dillias" Mom said. "I'm Marianna and this is my husband Vladimir"

Mom and dad had their greetings and also with the rest of my family, I sat down with the rest of my family, Mason sat next to me and Nicholas sat next to Mason. As we all sat down questions kept pouring in.

"So where did you two meet?" My grandpa asked.

"At school"I said. If they found out that I met him properly at the ball I was in deep trouble.

"Well the first time we met was at school but got to know each other at the ball" Mason said.

I looked at him then gave him a 'don't you dare tell them' look. But I knew I had to be honest from now on to my parents or I wouldn't be able to date for 100 years.

"At the ball?" My grandmother asked.

"Ok so don't freak out I'm going to be completely honest about what you said. I met him at the Vampire Ball and he and his farther went there." I said

"But you are human how did you manage to get rid of the scent only Vampire hunters can" dad says to Mason. Mason and I exchanged looks I had to tell them the truth even though I didn't want to.

"Mason and Nicholas, put off the scent but it was mainly Nicholas" I said.

"Please I mean no harm they were my old days , but I WAS a Vampire Hunter, Mason and I only went to the ball because Mason tried to prove to me that these new Vampires were peaceful and I guess it worked" Nicholas says.

My family were stunned, I was scared. My farther stood up oh no this was not going to be good.

"How dare you come to my ball! You are a hunter, hunters have tried to hunt down my family for generations but do you know why? Because we are the most powerful and they want us out!" Dad said.

"I'm sorry Mason has no part in my hunting it's only me I promise but I'm done with hunting I only hunt what you call the Tenebrae!" Nicholas said.

My grandpa rose from his chair, things were going to get worse before they get better, if only they would understand then it would work out. That's when hell broke out my parents started shouting at each other then Nicholas was calm saying it's his old days.

I couldn't handle it all of this was too much for me, I thought I was going to scream but I didn't I did something more extreme. I was so angry that the room started shaking like a earthquake, the room was shaking viscously then the table started spinning too. I couldn't control myself I knew it was me thought because the power was going though me.

"Stop this now!" Grandpa shouted.

He didn't know who it was so I tried to slow it down bit my bit Faith looked at me she held my hand then all of it stopped. Everybody look around the room, Faith gave me a 'are you ok' look, I was so scared right in my seat.

"I think you two should leave" my farther muttered.

When he said that I got up from my seat and ran to my room and locked the door, he thinks they should just leave because of that? He didn't even say if they were fine! When I ran up to our room I locked the door, I just did that and could have hurt somebody. Now I saw why me and Faith were the next powerful generation.

When I locked the door I sat down behind and cried, I could have hurt my family I was a danger to them I didn't want to hurt them. Then I heard footstep running up the stairs, Faith, Daria, mom and Mason.

"Honey are you ok?" My mom said.

"Please just go away I don't want to hurt you" I cried.
