Chapter 16

I lay in my room for hours, Faith was on the other side so was Mason and Mom they tried talking to me but I was so afraid something would happen. Faith tried to get me to talk about it, Mason asked if he could come in and mom tried to comfort me saying it wasn't my fault and all that shit.

I knew that it was my fault.

Why can't they accept that?

"Honey you have been in there for hours, Faith would like to come in" mom said "Please just let her in" I slowly stood up I could only trust Faith. I unlocked the door and only let Faith in, I would tell her if she felt the energy.

When Faith came in i wrapped my arms around her and hugged her "It's all my fault. I'm afraid of what my powers can do" I tell her.

"Bliss you don't need to be afraid" she said. "People here will help you I promise, I will be here for you no matter what"

"Faith you don't get it, my powers are growing stronger if they grow so strong I could turn dark. You know one of us has to be stronger, it's what Grandpa told us from an early age. One has to take the lead, and that has to be me. The powers were given to me and I don't want them. I know I will turn dark, and don't deny it!"

"You will not turn into a Tenebrae, the last time that happened was over 500 years ago!"

I looked at her, this was a possibility but a 99% not going to happen but you never now. I heard Mason call from the outside saying he and his farther have to go "Bliss, I will see you in school tomorrow. Please show up" Then Mason left, I went downstairs I needed the answers as to why my powers bursted out all of a sudden.

When I got downstairs everybody was quiet, they all looked at me. If they carried on I would run upstairs and not come out for a whole year.

"Bliss please sit, I realise that you have a lot of questions and I will answer many" Grandpa said.

"Ok my first question is. Why did my powers suddenly burst out?" I asked.

"It is common that when a young vampires powers are growing more stronger they will do anything to get noticed, you kept them hidden for so long that they needed to be let out. This was done through your emotions, or more of anger" He told me.

"Second is, Does Faith have the same powers as me?"

"One of you two has to be the stronger Vampire that's now you Bliss, Faith will now be seen as a normal vampire. But she is still strong, her powers will kick in when she's 18 but Bliss. The sign of your powers bursting out before your 18 is meant to say you are very powerful" He explains. I couldn't believe it, one of us has to be stronger I didn't want that to be me Faith deserves it even though she would completely avoid her powers.

"Is it possible that my powers will grow so strong that I will turn Tenebrae" I shivered I was afraid of what he would say.

"It is extremely unlikely which is a good thing"

For the next hour I asked many questions, some I wished I would never ask such as 'Does this affect my emotional feelings' , Isaac nearly burst out laughing I soon shut him up. "Sorry Bliss" Isaac says "But emotional feelings? Who would think you would say such a thing!"

I was afraid if it happened at school, I could start an earthquake small but would make people suspicious. If this got out to the Vampire council and Community I would be dead or banished. Tomorrow was school, if I freaked out I was done for.

"Bliss you do not need to be afraid, if you ever have troubles just ask me or your Grandmother" Grandpa said. I hugged him, I smelt his usual smell of peppermint and tobacco I didn't want to hurt my family, they were my everything I would be nothing without them.

When I went to school the next day, I was afraid Faith suggested I stay at home but I went to school anyway. But I realised that I should have stayed home, I came on the wrong day because there was trouble.

A new girl came, she wasn't a shy little miss she was a viscous mean girl who talked back, and bullied us. In 4th period just before lunch we had English it was her chance it pick on me.

The girl didn't know what was coming.

When Faith and I sat down I was starting to get nervous the new girl Mary was a bully I could burst out my powers, every now and then Mary would possibly kill me. Well not kill she would probably tell the entire world and bye bye Bliss.

"What's your problem slut?" Mary snapped.

"Nothing just leave us alone" Faith said.

I didn't say anything I completely ignored her and just carried on writing, our teacher went out the room for 10minutes to fetch some books we were going to read. Mary had in it for me, she pulled my chair out so I fell to the floor, she also pushed my books on to the floor.

When I got up she pushed my back really hard, I tried ignoring that but I couldn't Mason and Faith could see the rage in my face. "Come on slut! Fight back!" She shouted.

"Bliss be calm" Faith whispered.

I did as I was told but then Mary started shouting names at me like bitch and Hoe. I couldn't take it , the room started shaking Faith looked at me.

Then the windows started to vibrate, and small cracks were in it.

The cracks grew and grew.

Before we all knew it they smashed.

Then I realised something Mary was furious.

"You did this, Saturn has possessed you slut! You are a daughter of evil!" She shouted. Ugh a religious slut, she had no idea where this came from. "You Bitch, I and god shall have my revenge and your evil family will live no more!"

"Shut up Mary!" Mason shouted.

Then Mary ran out, god a religious bitch who thinks somebody will help her and hasn't seen Vampires. But I was still scared at the same time, I chose the wrong day to come to school and by powers had grown more stronger.
