It's been 84 years... i did it. I know I usually write in first person, but this chapter is a little special so it's in second pov. Enjoy 💖

You turn your doorknob, before pushing the door wide open, revealing your dolled up figure. You escape the short hallway and enter the kitchen, genuinely shocked to see your mother closing the refrigerator door.

"Woah, you're up late," You joked, knowing she usually left by 5:30 in the morning. Your mother chuckles in response, mischievously rolling her eyes at you.

"Quiet, tiger," She warns, her head jerking towards the living room. "Someone's asleep."

You scan the living room, noticing Hyun's tall figure curled up to fit the small sized couch, his arms securely wrapped around a pillow. A loud snore escapes Zen's open mouth. You purse your lips as an attempt to suppress your laughs.

"You let him stay?" The amusement in your voice makes it hard to keep quiet and prevent Zen from waking.

She shrugs, a wide grin mirroring yours. "Of course. You said yourself I should help someone if I ever got the chance." You nod your head in appreciation, your eyes glimmering in happiness.

"I have to go now, so enjoy your toast, hun," She places her hand on your shoulder, leaving a small kiss on your forehead. Her amused grin eventually dies down, into a small, gentle and sweet smile. A look you haven't seen her give you in a while.

A relaxed sigh leaves your lips. "Of course. Thanks mom."

She lightly squeezes your shoulder, before spinning her heel and leaving the apartment. You stay at the same spot, stunned, until the sound of her high heels clucking leaves your ears. You're happy. Really happy. It was a brief moment, but it felt nice. To be able to interact with your mother normally.

Another snore escapes Hyun's mouth, breaking you out of your thoughts. You glance at him, curling your lips into a smirk.

You tiptoe your way to the couch, kneeling to examine his peaceful expression. It was quite cute, you had to admit. Too bad you had to wake him up soon.

"WAKE UP!" You scream, loud enough for your voice to be heard throughout the entire building. The albino's eyes burst open, jolting out of the couch immediately. One of his hands rest on his collarbone, panting in fear. When he sees you giggling at him, he puts his hand down and relaxed his body.

He glares at you. "You could've just shook me and gently told me wake up, but instead you do that?"

"I could've, but where's the fun in that?" You form eye contact with him, a contagious grin shaping your lips. "Good morning, sunshine."

He's quick to forgive you, his once annoyed expression fading into an amused one. "Good morning, giggles."

You giggle again, which was ironic, considering his nickname for you. "C'mon. Let's have breakfast together," you say, gesturing him to follow you into the kitchen. "We leave in 45 minutes."

Finally, both Zen and you arrived at the school building. People were staring at not only Zen, but you too. You were sure Zen was used to being stared at, but it was a completely new feeling for you. You were a loner. The one no one really paid much attention to. You didn't like the feeling one bit.

As a result of this, your cheeks turned red, a feeling of uneasiness settled in your chest. Zen looks over at you, to see your uncomfortable expression.
