My eyes fluttered open to the sound of my ringtone playing softly in the silence. I rubbed my eyes and looked around the bed for the phone, trying to follow the muffled noise. Once retrieving it from under the pillow I looked at the caller ID and sighed.

accept decline
I pulled open the curtain a little so I could see across, letting the light pour in. He was sitting fully clothed on his windowsill with his phone in his palm, biting his lip. I rolled my eyes and clicked the accept button, bringing it up to my ear.
"What?" I asked, the irritation evident in my voice.
"Someone's not a morning person" He replied, chuckling at my tone. I took a second to look at the time, my eyes widening at how early it was on a Saturday morning.
"You must be joking right now" I said, taking a deep breath.
"Nope" He said, I could almost hear the smirk in his voice if that was possible.
"Bye"
"Wait!"
"You have 5 second before I hang up and go back to sleep" I stated, running my fingers through my hair.
"I'll be at your door in 10 minutes, I want to do something" the beeping noise through the phone signalled that he had hung up. I watched through the window as he left the bedroom, shutting the door behind him.I glanced at my warm bed thinking about how easy it would be to get back in it and fall asleep, but my curiosity got the best of me. I sighed and stood up, walking over to my wardrobe and pulling out some clean clothes. I tousled my wavy hair and let it swoop to one side, the waves tumbling past my elbows.
(A/N: her outfit 🖤)
As I stood walked to the bedroom door I took my phone and slithered it into my back pocket. I closed the door softly behind me, careful not to wake my mom who was still deeply asleep on the couch. I opened the front door and closed it quietly behind me to avoid making any noise. Faint giggles and deep laughter caught my attention, moving my gaze over to his house. Outside the door was the two little children I had seen when I first went to Taehyungs house. They were both wearing little coats and hats as they stood outside the front door, giggling with one another. A few seconds later Taehyung joined them, picking the eldest boy up into a piggy back and holding the little girls hand with his free arm. His face lit up when he saw me standing across from him. They all began walking over to me, the little girl giggling as she saw me.
"Are you Areum Unnie?" The little girl asked me, looking up from Taehyung to me. I nodded, giving her a wide smile as I crouched down to her level.
"What's your name?" I asked, tilting my head at her.
"Eonjin" She said, smiling sheepishly.
"That's a very pretty name, Eonjin" I complimented, making her hide behind Taehyung a little and giggle in embarrassment.
"Can I tell you a secret unnie?" She asked, coming closer with a serious expression. I nodded and she came closer to my face and whispered in my ear.
"Taehyung oppa says you're very pretty but you seem sad" she whispered, glancing up at Taehyung to see if he was listening. Luckily he was preoccupied playing with Jeonggyu.
"Does he now?" I said loud enough for him to hear, raising an eyebrow and smirking at him.
"Do I what?" He asked innocently.
"Nothing" I chimed, smiling at Eonjin and pretending to zip my lips causing her to giggle. Taehyung put down Jeonggyu and both the children began playing tag slightly ahead of us.
"So what am I doing here?" I asked, pulling my sleeves over my fingers.
"I didn't want to go by myself"
"Go where?"
"To the park"
"So you woke me up to babysit?" I asked, rolling my eyes at him.
"Nope, I woke you up to accompany me and my siblings to the park" He corrected, taking his hands out of his pockets. He tapped me on the shoulder quickly before running up to the younger kids, smiling as if he was their age.
"Areum is it!" He yelled, chuckling as he stood beside them.
"I'm not playing" I groaned.
"Please noona" Jeonggyu pleaded, pouring at me. I sighed giving in, laughing as I began to run toward them.-
I sat down at the bottom of the slide, my knees up to my chest as I scrolled through my phone. I ignored the sounds of shoes squeaking from above me until a large figure knocked into my back. A deep voice chuckled behind me as the impact caused me to shuffle forward a little.
"Taehyung move"
"Why you're the one in the way" he said, adjusting his legs so they didn't squish me.
"I was here first"
"I was born first" he chimed, pushing me further down the slide.
"How would you know my birthday?"
"I don't"
"Exactly" I said, my point proven.
"December 30th" he said, scooting closer.
"What?"
"My birthday" he replied. I turned to face him and smirked.
"What?"
"I'm noona to you" I replied, looking at him smugly. His mouth dropped, clearly annoyed by the fact I was older.
"When's your birthday?" He asked, dumbfounded.
"January 1st" I replied, smirking at him. He sighed sulkily and crossed his arms, making me chuckle at his childish behaviour.
"Areum unnie!" Eonjin shrieked, running towards us both with a terrified look on her face.
"What's wrong Eonjin?" I asked, sitting upright.
"I fell off the swing" she said, her lower lip quivering. I ushered her to come closer, pulling her into a hug.
"Where did you hurt?" I asked looking over her before she showed me her palm which was slightly grazed. Taehyung came up from behind me and took her hand, bringing it up to his mouth. He quickly covered it in kisses making the younger girl giggle. He smiled at her and began to tickle her before she ran off back to play. Until I saw him raising an eyebrow at me I hadn't noticed that I was smiling.
