Taehyung's visits became more frequent as the days passed, his presence growing familiar once again to me. After his school day had finished he would spend every hour possible at the hospital with me until I forced him to leave, always resulting in him sulking. On weekends he would come early and stay over night, sleeping either in the chair or on the bed with me. My mom had noticed our sudden reconnection, often hinting at it in our quick conversations. I ensured her that I was fine and she didn't need to miss work for me, continuously telling her I could take care of myself.

My eyes diverted from the window the the now opening door, a wide smile spreading across my face as he walked in.
"Sorry I'm late princess, I wanted to get these for you" Taehyung said, gesturing to the bouquet roses in his hand. As he walked over I sat up and quickly pulled his face down to mine, cupping his cold cheeks in my hands. I pecked him on the lips and smiled.
"Thank you" I said as he handed me the flowers. I rested myself on my knees, placing the flowers in my lap as looked at them smiling.
"You look cheery today" he commented, a smirk on his face as he sat down in the chair.
"Well,"
"The doctors said I'll be able to go home tomorrow if I make sure I take it easy" I shared, watching as a large boxy grin appeared on his lips.
"Wait really?" He half shouted, excitement present in his tone. I quickly nodded and he walked over, sitting beside me as he pulled me into a hug.
"Tae I can't breathe" I laughed.
"Sorry princess" he chuckled, placing a quick kiss on my nose. He swivelled me around so I sat in his lap, my back pressed against his chest. We talked for hours until all the light faded from the sky, the hospital lights being the only brightness.
"You have to go soon Tae" I whispered, noticing how late it was becoming.
"A little longer?" He groaned, his arms wrapping tighter around me.
"You say that every time"
"Because I never want to go" he replied, nuzzling himself into the crook of my neck.
"Tomorrow I'll come home with you okay?" I said, attempting to lighten his mood.
"Pinky promise?" He said, lifting his pinky finger up to me. I nodded and kissed our fingers, making both of us smile. He grinned and kissed my head as he stood up, stretching out his long legs.

I watched him leave the room, a wide smile resting on my face. I chuckled to myself and looked out the window at the now dark sky, sighing slightly. The happiness he brought me was indescribable, it was almost impossible to think about how he could make me the happiest person ever within the shortest time. I laid down, a smile on my lips as I closed my eyes.

When I finally woke it was late morning, the hours until I would get to go home drawing closer. I sat upright, rubbing my eyes and combing through my fringe with my fingers. My eyes scanned the room, my gaze falling on a vase sitting on a cabinet that was placed opposite my bed. Inside the glass vase was a array of white and yellow roses, tall daisies and fern leaves inside. I stood up slowly, my toes hitting the cold hospital floor. As I walked over to the flowers I lifted a finger, gently to her my the petal of the flower.

Beside them was a small note that was neatly folded with three initials written on the front, 'kth'. I shook my head and laughed, how cute. The clicking of the door caught my attention, my head turning in its direction. My mom walked in, a smile appearing on her face when her eyes moved from me to the flowers.

"Taehyung I assume?" She chuckled. I nodded and lifted a flower to my nose, breathing in the sweet scent of the plant.
"You're very lucky to find someone like him" She said admiring them. You have no idea.
"I brought your clothes to change in to" she said, handing me a pile of neatly folded clothes.
"Thank you" I said, taking them from her hands. As she left the room I slipped into the fresh clothes, a weird yet familiar feeling entering my body as I slid the fabric over my head. I shook my head, discarding the strange feeling.

As I left the room, holding the flowers in my hands, I signed the remainder of my forms. My mom stood beside me, chatting to the receptionist as I dragged the pen across the paper. When I finished we excited the building, climbing into her car. The drive was fairly silent as we made our way home, my mind preoccupied with looking outside. I smiled to myself as we pulled into our street, my eyes instinctively darting up to where his window was located. The turned on light signalled he was inside, a wave of excitement flooding my body.

"Why don't you go see him?" My mom spoke into our comfortable silence, almost making me jump.
"What?" I asked, confused by her question.
"Taehyung" she replied, a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes playfully and got out of the car, blowing a kiss to her as I exited the vehicle. When I reached the door I knocked gently, only loud enough for the people inside to hear. Seconds later Taehyung appeared, his hair scruffy and his face swollen as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.
"Areum?" He asked, rubbing his eyes again as he woke himself up.
"Sorry did I wake you up?"
"Wait you're actually here" he said, probably only just coming to his realisation. As his eyes widened he ran closer to me and engulfed me in his arms, resting his chin on the crown of my head. My hands automatically wrapped around him, placing my cheek against his chest as I listened to his heart beat fast.
"Sorry it's late I just couldn't wait any longer" I mumbled, breathing in his scent.
"I'm glad you couldn't" he said, chuckling slightly.
"Taehyung who's th-oh Areum!" Mrs Kim said as she peeled through the door, quickly looking at the both of us. I shyly pulled away and bowed.
"Hello Mrs Kim" I said, flashing a warm smile.
"I'm so glad you're back now, please come in sweetie" she said, pulling me gently inside.
