Here are some major things you should know before the story starts. Be warned, these will contain major spoilers for the game. So if you haven't already finished the game and continue reading, don't blame me. Also, some things will be added or altered from the stuff in the game. Anyway, here we go.
*The main storyline of this book will mostly take place when Noctis and the gang are searching for the royal arms, before all the stuff with the Astrals starts happening (and yes, before they meet Titan).
*The gang already knows that Ardyn is their enemy.
*Prompto (and the gang) already knows that he's from Niflheim.
*Jared Hestor (Talcott's grandfather) is already dead, but Talcott and Iris are both still in Lestallum.
*The gang already knows that daemons come from people and monsters infected by the Starscourge.
