plans

he likes... daniel?!

~

"k-kang daniel? that kid with the pink hair? the one your best friends with..."

(y/n) trailed off and realized that him and daniel were always really close.

they were always together and were closest among the group.

"now that i think about it..."

~

"this is so embarrassing!"

seongwoo groaned and buried his head in his hands.

"it's not something you should be ashamed about. it's cute actually."

~

"do you know what my parents would do if they found out i liked... a boy?"

"let me guess... throw you out? we can live on the streets together."

a hopeful smile spread across (y/n)'s lips as seongwoo looked up at her.

he smiled slightly back at her attempts to lighten the mood.

"do you think that i'm... a screw up?"

"of course not!"

"but what are we going to do? we both love other people, but were supposed to be married to each other."

~

they discussed plans to try get out of marriage.

there wasn't any easy way to do this.

~

"we're gonna have to come clean-"

"i am not telling my parents. not now at least."

"okay... well, how about we go for a fake date and you meet daniel and i meet samuel!"

"that would work if daniel liked me back."

"he doesn't?!" (y/n) exclaimed, shocked.

she covered her mouth realizing how loud she just was.

"i mean... i haven't told him."

"well then what've you got to lose?"

"a lot."

~

she thought about it.

he does have a lot to lose.

he's the heir to his families company. his family could kick him out for this. he doesn't want his family's image ruined. he's really sacrificing a lot here by not telling his family and keeping his secret.

maybe i should do the same and just do what my parents want... it is better...

~

"seongwoo, maybe we should just do what our famil-"

"(y/n) you know this is wrong. and we both have always listened and obeyed our families' wishes. now we have to be selfish."

"what do you suggest we do then?" she sighed.

"go on a date." he smirked.

"what?"

"a fake one."

they smiled at each other and began devising a plan.

~

this was a beginning of a new plan.

one where they could be with who they fell in love with.

and not hurt the their loved ones either.

~

as cliché as it was, they were going to do whatever it took.

even if they had to follow every clicin the book.
