choices

the ride home was tense for both.

tense was an understatement.

~

tears slipped down (y/n)'s face.

her parents ignored their weeping daughter.

"(y/n), you shouldn't be crying over such trivial things."

~

because dragging my first boyfriend out of my life against my will is something i shouldn't cry over!

~

samuel's ride home was the complete opposite.

"mom, dad you can't just take me away from her. you said it yourself she was helping me."

"other people can help you. you will not associate yourself with that girl. especially not a (l/n)."

~

"if you ever associate with that family consider yourself disowned."

after hearing those words from their parents' mouths the teens bit their tongues.

~

they didn't have many choices.

~

they wondered if avoiding each other was the best choice.

if not their families would disown them.

~

"okay."

~

they were only teens.

choices were plentiful.

but which choice was the right one?

~

should i trust my parents? they've done so much for me...

but this fight is irrational. why should i have to stop my relationship because of it.

~

samuel sent a message to (y/n).

his parents were going to monitor his phone so he sent a long text to her with an explanation.

~

(y/n) quickly typed a response and deleted messages before her parents took her phone.

~

after sometime (y/n) got her phone back finding no way to message samuel.

he was removed from everything.

~

i'll message his friends!

she quickly created a group chat with all of his friends and told them what happened.

they said they knew about the incident.

of course samuel told them already.

~

one message stuck in her head.

~

"we'll work something out. we promise."

~

each one had a choice.

listen to their parents

or their hearts?

too bad listening to your heart was too cliché.
