I turn off my phone and throw it to the end of my bed. I lay back on my pillow and stare up at my star-painted ceiling. I sigh, close my eyes for a few seconds, then open them again.
Out of the corner of my eye I can see my alarm clock reads 11:11. I stare at the brightest star there is. It twinkles.

Make a wish, I think to myself.
I wish I'd never spoken to Harvey Mills.
