The next morning when I woke I took a quick shower, and left my hair down in its natural waves. I was really tired from the night before. I wore a white and pink sundress to school just because I was too lazy to wear jeans.

When I got to school I tried looking for Ava and the guys but had no luck. It was going to be a long day. In 2nd period, Ava walked in late. This was really strange because she's always very caring about her grades and attendance. During 5th period, Sam spent the whole period talking to Danny. I pretty much felt left out. I had no one else to talk to besides them. Perhaps I should start making new friends.

" Hey, Are you alright?" Sam asked. I hadn't realized that I was staring at him.

"Hmm, oh yeah ! Sure I'm fine!" I was still looking at his bright green eyes. Those eyes are the most beautiful eyes I will ever see in my whole life. Soon after, the bell rang. I stood up and started to walk towards the door when someone called me. "Kim! wait up !" I turned to see Sam jogging towards me.

"I hadn't noticed how pretty you look today."

"How pretty I look? I didn't even try !" Deep inside I was actually appreciating the compliment.

"Well, you look beautiful anyways."

I was very happy to hear that coming from Sam. To be honest, I think I was trying to get him to like me.

Oh no! Do I actually like him? I think I do! But I don't want to, he is one of the few friends that I have here and something like a relationship can ruin our friendship. What if I fall for him and he doesn't like me back. What if by accident I tell him and he says that we can no longer be friends because what I feel for him.. I feel so stupid talking to my self.

During lunch I sat next to Ava and we talked about girl stuff while the guys all tried to finish their homework for English. Every time I looked up I saw Sam staring at me. It wasn't a normal stare, it was more like a creepy stalker stare... It felt so awkward.
