Hello!

So I have to say thank you to all my readers for getting me past the 500 mark.

A chapter ago I was at 400 and now I'm at 636. I don't know about you guys but this is amazing considering its my first book on Wattpad.

Sorry if I haven't updated lately, that's because I'm already back in school... sucks I know. But thankfully this is my Junior year so I'm almost done with high school.

Anyway....Enjoy this chapter!

"Enough with the introductions! We have to get out of here!" yelled Rocket. "He's right," Spoke Gamora, "If we stay any longer they'll find us."

"The Milano is outside if we get to it we will leave in no time, the problem is, we have to get trough High Evolutionary and his guards." Said Drax with his rough voice.

"How about a distraction?" I asked. "Exactly, see? She gets me." said Star-lord as he walked over to me and patted my head like a puppy.

I looked at him and gave him a frown. I am not a dog. He backed away and said, "Sorry, I'm just used to doing it to Rocket."

Rocket looked up from working on his gun and said, "Watch it, Hairless." as he pointed his weapon to the leader.

Star-lord raised his hands in surrender and backed away. "Back to the business." he said clapping his hands. "Nova and I will create a distraction. Groot and rocket will make a hole on the side of the ship. Gamora and Drax will make a run to the Milano and get her to safety." he said pointing at me.

"I can help with something too." I said. "No Kim, you're hurt." Sam replied, putting on his helmet over that handsome face of his. Curse that helmet.

"Fine." I sighed and crossed my arms, looking at the floor. "Thank you." he whispered as he held my hands in his. I looked at him and he smiled back at me.

"C'mon Love birds, we need to leave." Star-lord said. I could feel my cheeks turn a bright pink as I looked over at the guardians and they all looked back at Sam and I.

Sam let go of my hands and cleared his throat, "Yeah let's go." he said in very manly way. I mentally laughed at how Sam tried to act so tough around his friends.

Everyone walked over to exit "Once you're at the Milano take off and we'll meet you on the other side of the ship." Star-lord ordered.

He then took something from behind his ear and handed it to Gamora. "When you're outside give it to her." It was a small metallic thing.

Nova then opened the door and he flew out and down the hallway with Star-lord running by his side.

The rest of us ran to the other side of the hallway. Groot and Rocket ahead of me and Drax and Gamora behind me.

In a corner of a hallway a group of guards ran towards us and out of nowhere started shooting their laser guns at us.

I yelled as the laser burned my right arm as it shot past me. "Groot!" I heard Gamora yell. I looked up to see Groot walking over to me and wrapping me in his arms as he crouched down to protect me.

I heard the grunts of Rocket, Gamora and Drax as they fought the rest of the guards.

The sound of a laser whirred by my left ear and then Groot fell to the floor. I turned around and saw two more guards running towards us.
