"Hey, Kim!" Sam walked over to me.

We where on our way to 6th period and I was having a good day ... a conversation between our creepy stares would be really uncomfortable. "I was wondering if you would like to come to the movies with me ... And the guys of course." He asked.

"Ummm... just you guys?" I was scared of going with them. I barely know them! "Ohhh! Ava is going too!" Ohhh thank god!!!! "Yeah sure !!!! When?"

" How about this Friday? there's a new zombie movie I've been wanting to watch."

"Yeah, that's fine by me. It's gonna be so much fun!" Ummmm no it wasn't .... its not that I'm anti-social or anything but I really don't like to go out with people I just meet .... And that's why I don't have any friends.

For the rest of the day I was trying to decide what I would wear on Friday evening. I was thinking of something that would make me look good for ...ummm... Sam. I wanted something pretty but not something that would say ' Yes I tried too hard to look good for you!' I wanted something ... perfect.

•~FRIDAY~•

"So, who else is going ?" I was in the phone with Sam.

" Just us, the others couldn't make it " Sam responded

Great. it was just us, Sam, Peter, Ava, and I. It really looked like a double date.

Sam was going to pick me up later today and I was trying to make up an excuse so that I wouldn't go, but something inside told me to try something new. After some war against my self I decided what I would wear. I was wearing some high wasted shorts with a black and white striped shirt and some combat boots ....it made a beautiful combination. I curled my hair and let it down past my shoulders. Every time I looked in the mirror I asked my self if Sam would like it, I hope he did.

When the door bell rang I panicked but managed to get it together. I opened the door and saw Sam, when he looked at me his green eyes lit up.

"Ummm.. You ... ready ... are , Ummm... sorry ... Are you ready?" he mumbled. Awww he was blushing!!!

"Yeah... I'm ready." I looked down smiling. He was so cute!!!!

He walked me to his car and politely opened the door. "Thanks!"

"You're welcome" he responded walking to the other side of the car. Ava and Peter where in the back seat.

"Seems like Sam called shotgun for you" Peter said, seeming annoyed. "Don't listen to him, he's just a dork!" Ava teased, punching Peter in the arm. "Alright people... lets Go!!" Sam exclaimed happily looking into my eyes.

When we got to the movies Sam decided it was funny that he had already bought my ticket. I was thankful he had but honestly, I like to pay for my stuff. "Here take the money Sam." I argued. "I'm not taking it Kim," he quickly responded "now hurry, the movie is staring soon." We basically ran into the theatre only to find it empty. "Yeahhhh !!" Peter yelled throwing his arms up. Sam and I sat in the middle row to get a good look at the movie while Peter and Ava went all the way up to the top rows. I leaned over to Sam and whispered "Looks like they want some alone time." He turned to me with a smile on his lips and shook his head. I threw some popcorn at him and said, "You know it's true." he looked at me and we stared into each others eyes. "Hey! Love birds!"

We both looked at Peter, who was now being punched by Ava.

The movie was about to start when I realized this was a scary movie.

Ohhh shit! I have never watched a scary movie without cuddling with someone. Fuck ! I had to ask him. "Ummm Sam," "yeah,what's wrong" he replied, quickly looking over to me. "...this might sound stupid but ... ummm... Can we cuddle? I get really creeped out."

He didn't move for a few seconds, just staring at me. Fuck! Finally he lifted up the arm rest in between us and put an arm around me. "Come here" he whispered with a smilie on his face. I got closer to him and laid my head on his chest. He smelled so good. Half way through the movie I was starting to fall asleep thanks to Sam's rhythmic breathing I tried to keep my eyes open but just lost.

BOOM! My whole body shook and I opened my eyes wide. I looked up to Sam who was now looking down at me with a worried face. "Are you ok?" He whispered, stroking my hair. "Yeah, sorry." We both continued to watch the movie, which was know getting to the scariest part. I grabbed Sam's shirt, pulling it. I felt his hand go down my arm, grabbing my hand and squeezing it lightly, and resting his chin on my head. I felt so safe with him even though it was just a stupid zombie movie. I really didn't want to move and I believe neither did he because we stayed like this until the movie was over and the lights in the room turned on.

Our trip back home was loud and joyful. It all consisted of singing, dancing and a shitload of selfies.

We had dropped off Peter and Ava first, they had to be home before 11:30. I could be out as late as I wanted, since my parents weren't home. As soon as we pulled up in my drive way, Sam got out of the car and ran to open my door.

"Well, thank you!" He was a real gentleman. "You're welcome." he said with a wide smile on his face. "So how did you like the movie?" he asked, as we walked over to the front porch. "It scared the shit out of me, and you?" I replied

" Well I enjoyed the part where we cuddled." by now we were just standing outside the door talking. "Oh! thanks for that Sam, I've never watched a scary movie without cuddling with someone." I smiled at him staring into those bright green eyes. He was looking into my eyes and then it happened. He leaned in, slowly, kissing my lips. I had no idea what to do but to enjoy the moment so, I kissed him back. He bit my lip but I just smiled and bit his. He slowly moved away and smiled. We embraced for a few minutes and he kissed me goodbye. I walked inside and just threw myself on the bed smiling at what just had happened. I felt butterflies in my stomach.
